I'm confused...don't boo your I'm confused...don't boo your own team BUT boo the opposing and chant "you suck" to the other team???
Isn't the other team made up of college students???
And I'm not going get into some of the repulsive comments people make in the stands about players.
IMHO, give this a rest. They are big boys and need to learn to take criticism.
Are you nuts?!?!? You would Are you nuts?!?!? You would take DJ Wilson over Mo Bamba?!?!? Ok.
Since 2000:
Coach K (2001,
Since 2000:
Coach K (2001, 2010, 2015)
Jim Calhoun (2004, 2011)
Roy Williams (2005, 2009, 2017)
Billy Donovan (2006, 2006)

That's 4 coaches that accounted for 18 of the last 18 titles. Let's not forget John Wooden, Bobby Knight, Dean Smith, and Coach K who all won titles before 2000. Add Rick Pitino who in 1996 and 2013. And tack on another for Jim Calhoun in 1999.

So yeah, about coaches winning multiple titles...
This guy won tittle damn-near This guy won tittle damn-near twenty years ago and you clowns act like he's John Wooden. Let me repeat: he won ONE title in 2000. His track record of getting kids to the league is dismal; his record against the true Blue Bloods is pathetic. If you say one word bout damn Final Fours, I'll reach through the internet and slap you. FINAL FOURS are NOT championships. You're friggin' runner-up. So save it about the lil angry midget. He's a self-serving lil prick, who is an AVERAGE coach.
I've had a good feeling about I've had a good feeling about Bamba for a while, and this confirms it. Beilein essentially told him with a talent like Bamba, the sky would be the limit. He would be the star, day one, having to defer to no one. Beilein would adjust to him because he has the pieces around him to do so. Imagine this starting line-up:
MAAR
Matthews
Wagner
Bamba
Wilson

And the bench:
Simpson
Robinson
Livers
Poole/Brooks (I think one will redshirt)
Teske/Davis (I think one will be the odd man out)

I think this would finally be the team that gets Beilein over-the-hump. There's far too much firepower in that starting lineup: length, shooters, slashers, and defense. And then you can bring more of it off the bench.
Bamba would be a Top 5 pick easy if he comes to Michigan.
Actually he said the Actually he said the opposite. He likened it to ice skating uphill. Sam essentially said, let it go.
Typical Beilein...you just Typical Beilein...you just spend 40 minutes jacking up 3s, and when they aren't falling, you don't adjust, you just keep jacking them up. Then play SOFT on top of that.
Absolutely! Have her send me Absolutely! Have her send me her resume. I will put her in touch with my Science lead and they can stay in touch over the next year. We will need a Biology teacher next year, so this will be a great chance for her to get acquainted with our school and staff. I'm certain she will be intrigued by our school. Look forward to hearing from her.
I'm a high school principal I'm a high school principal in Boston. I currently need a Biology teacher . Have your wife send me her resume and my team will review and contact her next week.

To hell with Magic! To hell with Magic!
I need ESPN to ditch this I need ESPN to ditch this camera angle. IT'S TERRIBLE!!!
Problem is every recruiting Problem is every recruiting cycle can't be about looking for "projects." You can't waste scholarships on guys like DJ Wilson and Kam Chatman. Those two are the epitome of soft and has given you nothing since they've been here.
Great story. Great story.
Is it ok to wonder out loud Is it ok to wonder out loud how that stellar recruiting class of Kam Chatman and D.J. Wilson is working out?
Yes, the the two on the right Yes, the the two on the right (both are deceased)
Yeah I heard the same Yeah I heard the same nonsense. He must have just come out of his 4 year coma, and missed all of Winston's character "issues"
Harbaugh has his work cut out Harbaugh has his work cut out for him. No way this defense should be getting pushed around.
One of the objectives of One of the objectives of football is to tackle...(sigh)
Joe Bolden is not having a Joe Bolden is not having a good game
Desmond Morgan decided to do Desmond Morgan decided to do a Joe Bolden impression on the last osu scoring drive
Joe Bolden whiffed on two Joe Bolden whiffed on two tackles on that series
Was it just me... Or did it sound like the announcer kept saying "Greg" Johnson???
Seriously, it must be "Take Seriously, it must be "Take your pet to work day" for the BTN camera guys.
The BTN camera guys are The BTN camera guys are terrible in this game.
Poor thing...just pissed away Poor thing...just pissed away any chance of playing in the NBA.
Not being negative, just Not being negative, just pointing out that he's hardly ripped. And yes, for all the "Arnold-esque" poses we'll see this summer, I want Coach B.A. to light a fire under these big guys.
Ahhh, here we go again with Ahhh, here we go again with "Camp Sanderson" pix...based on pic, he is not "ripped"; he's just been working out. Secondly, for all the "Camp Sanderson" photos and Instagram videos we see this summer, I hope someone instills an edge and some attitude in the big guys. Watching Wilson run out like the Sta-Soft Marshmallow Man and Donnal stand around like a deer in headlights is not going to bode well for the season. Yes, Coach B.A., I'm looking at you!
Agreed Agreed
Numbers to keep in Numbers to keep in mind:

Since 2010, msu AND Purdue have produced 3 NBA Draft picks each ;
Since 2007, msu AND Purdue have produced 4 NBA Draft picks each.

So yeah, it's the same. Caleb Swanigan was smart in staying away from msu. Not like Purdue is a powerhouse, but he is their best recruit in two decades. Matt Painter will be smart enough to feature him and allow him to develop as a lure for other big time recruits. At msu, he would more than likely take the "Brendan Dawson/Derrick Nix/Raymar Morgan" path to a career overseas. Or if he really got lucky, the prized "msu 2nd round" spot.
Caleb Swanigan is a Top 10 Caleb Swanigan is a Top 10 kid with talent that can be developed into NBA talent. Swanigan more than likely considered izzo's NBA draft record since the 1996 draft:

15-total players drafted
8-1st round picks
7-2nd round picks
1-Lottery Pick (2001)
NO 1st Round Picks between 2007-2013
Only two 2nd Round Picks between 2007-2013 (Suton and Green)
Only 3 picks since 2010 (Green 2nd Round, 2012; Payne and Harris 1st Round, 2014)

So, again, WHY would a kid with a scintilla of NBA talent go near izzo? After all, Purdue has had the same number of kids drafted since 2010 as msu: 3.
Good call Caleb!
Unless it come from Chris Unless it come from Chris himself, then it's just rumors. Thank you Dr Mantis Toboggan for having the correct insight about all this.
At a bar in Key West with my At a bar in Key West with my wife.
People have NO IDEA People have NO IDEA sometimes. They just want to feel important by being the first to spread rumors. Chris Singletary will land on his feet just fine. He has been an important part of Michigan football; Hackett knows this and will make an effort to keep him on board.

Uhhh, 7 final fours and no

Uhhh, 7 final fours and no players going to NBA...yeah, I'll pass on being a great runner-up who cannot get "runner-up" talent to the next level.  I will take one runner-up season with ALL five starters in the NBA, though.  At some point, it will all come together for Beilein.  As for "gary coleman izzo", NO kid with an ounce of NBA talent should ever play for that guy.

I doubt Webber regrets going

I doubt Webber regrets going to Michigan.  Yes, he regrets how things turned out.  But from that comment, it sounds like he's still bitter and when asked if had a "do-over", he would still pick Michigan, but doesn't want to say that because it would require him to answer "honestly in the mood he's in"  Just one way to look at it.

Chris Webber is still a Wolverine.  As fans, we need to still embrace that fact.  Yes, there were some questionable things that transpired during that time, but that was over 20 years ago; it's time to let it go.  It's time that all of our former players are treated as royalty by the Michigan Athletic department and fans.  These guys belong to us and we should treat them with respect for all the joy and memories they provided.  Yes, the Fab Five legacy is tainted, but they still were a force.  Embrace it.

Last I checked, Final Fours Last I checked, Final Fours are NOT championships. So what you're really saying is a great runner-up with his 7 players who were 5-stars. Oh, and by the way, lil "gary coleman izzo" has only produced ONE lottery pick in 20 years (2001), and went 6 years without a first round pick (only producing two second round picks during that time---Goran Suton and Draymond Green). As I've said here before, there's NO WAY a kid with an ounce of NBA talent should go anywhere near izzo. They'll stay four years, contribute to making him appear great, then maybe get drafted mid-2nd round. If at all.
I wouldn't call that response I wouldn't call that response "sticking it to" anyone.
Kid didn't want to spend 4 Kid didn't want to spend 4 years only to end up not getting drafted. Or at best, become a mid-2nd round pick. Smart move. A kid with NBA talent shouldn't go anywhere near izzo.
Who cares. Who cares.
It's hard to deny the success It's hard to deny the success that Beilein has had with the basketball program; however, recruiting for a "system" will not always produce consistent success. If you want to be competitive, I think you have to recruit the best and simply adjust or tailor your system to that talent. Yes, you will get a period of Burkes, THJs, McGarys, Staukas', and GRIII, but if you want that success on a regular, you have to go after the top talent. Coach Beilein needs to offer as many of the top guys as possible without compromising his integrity. Then show recruits his ability to adapt to their style. And for goodness sake, recruit some guys who play with an edge, an attitude; guys who plays angry.
Exactly! Exactly!
Hatch accepts Medical, Brown Hatch accepts Medical, Brown cuts his list to 5 all on Monday. Brown eliminates Kansas and Kenny Williams drops Michigan all yesterday. Now Brown announcement tonight. I think Brown has been a silent commit for Michigan and will reveal that tonight.
Singletary was the constant Singletary was the constant through 3 coaching changes. There's a reason why he was kept on all these years. He helped to hold down the program through all the changes. Many parents and recruits speak VERY highly of him (especially in the Detroit area). As much as well all love the Harbaugh hire, hopefully this is not a case of Harbaugh just being an asshole behind the scenes. Not that one man is any more important to the program than others, but let's hope Harbaugh sees/knows Singletary's value to the program.
It's laughable seeing all It's laughable seeing all this INACCURATE information/speculation.
Rome is off base here The "tight, tidy box" comment was probably meant as, "dude, stop trying to explain away the fact that you did something stupid. Because the more you try and explain, the more stupid and pathetic you sound. Just say what you did, take responsibility, and move on." Now Harbaugh could have just said that (and we don't know that he didn't later on), but to take that and call him a "crappy defense attorney" is a bit much. Rome is reaching here.
Good deal!!!! Now continue Good deal!!!! Now continue the full court press on Jaylen Brown and seal the deal.
Makes sense. And I expect a Makes sense. And I expect a Jaylen Brown decision around the time Caris makes his decision.
This does NOT mean he's

This does NOT mean he's headed to KY or Cal. He said he was misquoted, so there is a grain of truth to the whole "Adidas school" thing.
At this point, if Jaylen wanted to eliminate teams, he could do it now. The guys from the programs every one is projecting him to has made their decisions: 7 KY players gone; Kansas and UNC players declared; Ivan Rabb chose Cal. Of the 8 teams he's listed as finalists, there's only one player who has yet to make a decision: Caris Levert. And he's not supposed to make a decision until the very last minute---April 26th. The only indication of a decision date that Jaylen has given was, maybe around April 17th. But there's no clear indication that will happen.
If he hasn't made a decision by the end of this weekend, then I say Michigan has a great shot of landing him.
