The Masters starts tomorrow
Hello friends, to a tradition unlike any other. The Masters.
The tournament usually takes place early April and is the true sign that spring is here. Of course in this effed up year it is now in November and the last major to be played this year.
Current favorites are:
Bryson Dechambeau +800
Dustin Johnson +800
Jon Rahm +1000
Justin Thomas +1200
Rory McIlroy +1300
Xander Schauffele +1500
Brooks Koepka +1800
Other Notables
Tony Finau +3000
Collin Morikawa +3500
Matthew Wolff +3800
Jason Day +4000
Webb Simpson +4000
Tiger Woods +4200
Tommy Fleetwood +4500
Adam Scott +5000
How will the course play this time of year? Does Bryson overpower the course? Will Rory win and finish the career grand slam? Does Tiger repeat? Or does Carl Spackler, Cinderella story, out of nowhere, a former greenskeeper become the Masters champion? Who is your pick? Who are you rooting for?
I'm going with Justin Thomas and Tony Finau. Hoping for a great tournament!

Dustin Johnson Book It!

I can’t stand DeChambeau and his nauseating slow play but I’ll be very curious to see how he plays with the long drive contest driver he’ll be using. Go Brooks, DJ and Tiger!

I'm not a fan only because he looks like a dope with that silly hat he wears.

Give me some Lee Westwood. Five top tens and seven top 20s in his last eight Masters.

Lee always seems to play well there but fades in the end. Could be like Sergio a couple years ago and finally breakthrough.

McIlroy.
Now watch. He'll go 76-75 and miss the cut by a mile.

Patrick Cantlay

At 50:1, Adam Scott is good value.

Really curious to see how DeChambeau does with his new strategy about driving the ball as far as possible. As Griese alluded to, I saw a story that he has been taking lessons from a long driving champion and may have a 48" driver, the longest legal length, to use for the Masters.

If he can accurately carry 330+ he will win the tournament. I mean he’s hitting driver-wedge into every par 4 and hitting <5 iron into par 5’s in 2 I can’t see him losing this if his driver is on.

He will still have to make some putts on those tricky greens. This Masters will be fun to watch.

Gonna play long this week. It’s been raining and will be tomorrow then will cool off a little into the weekend. As much as I love him, I don’t see Tiger winning a tournament like that. Rory has been playing well. I think he might final break through.

Wolff's on the prowl.

Patrick Cantlay on fanduel for $50 to win.

Tony Finau seems to be in the hunt. Maybe the remnants of ETA will give him a shortened tournament win.

Pulling for Rickie Fowler to win. If not, Tony Finau or DJ. Looking forward to seeing some good golf. Played 18 holes on Monday, good day?️⛳

I like Rickie Fowler too but have given up on him ever winning a major.
(edit: I'd love for Ricky to prove me wrong!)

I'll be rooting for the rain delay and for Rory.

Jon Rahm is awfully tough lately. And now he has that new shot for #12.
