Maize jerseys & Blue pants mock up

In the uniform snowflakes thread yesteday people mentioned Blue pants with the Maize jerseys.

Here they are. @uofm_graphix made these.

I promise this is my last uniforms thread for awhile. Just wanted to post this during a non-busy time since it was a popular thought in the lead-up to the game.

I mean, I have my own opinions on uniforms and Michigan and the less we dabble in the alternate world, the better I feel and all that, but when we come across something which is essentially "Uniform Thread (Projected Combinations Discussion)", we really need to sit back and look at this like a spectator and ask ourselves if this discussion has completely gone around the bend.

They can change-up the color combination all they want, but please don't mess with the helmet.

It will be an easy recall for me in the future when somebody says, "Like the win against Florida when we wore the all maize uniforms."

What the Fuck.  

I give up, just go ahead and do it already.  Get it out of our systems.

We've already done all the monochromes - all white, all maize, all blue.

We've done blue jerseys / maize pants (obviously) and white jerseys / maize pants (obviously) as our regular look.

Fuck it, lets do blue jerseys / white pants, maize jerseys / white pants, white jerseys / maize pants, white jerseys / blue pants, and maize jsrseys / blue pants.

No matter how ugly.  Just do it.

Just pick some crap games and do them all.  Just so we can all say "OK we've seen it now, it's no big thing".

THEN QUIT FUCKING AROUND WITH THE BEST UNIFORM IN ALL OF SPORTS.

I think the Maize on Maize is awesome, Lets face it these kids want to look flashy...thats what gets recruits..I understand the Mich tradition and I respect the legend behind it but its time for some change, (you better get use to it) If the players feel like they look good, they'll play good, If they play good, We'll all be "GOOD"...Chill..They can wear Maize and Blue underwear for all i care as long as there wininng..

All blue with maize LED's would be really FLASHY, and would be a hit with my 7 year old. 7 year olds don't win football games (FBS football games). I understand theres a coolness factor, but TD's, Sacks, Wins, and 110,000+ screaming fans are also pretty damn cool. Theres also a certain coolness to having people who don't follow college football that see a game on tv where one of the teams is wearing a "blue and yellow winged helmet" and ask "Who is Michigan playing in that game?" Its a coolness factor that took decades to create, and is nearly impossible to replicate.

Have to admit, i was NOT a fan of this prior to seeing the product on the field. That said, i do NOT want it to be a standard uniform and Absolutely hell NO on the Maize and Blue pants.

But *NEVER* with our home unis. I think all maize was fine for a neutral site alternate, and I'd be fine with maize tops and blue bottoms next year or the following year as an alternate. Equating the Jordan all maize with the shitty adidas uniformz is just sensationalizing.
