I think the original song is "black and yellow." My guess is that it's probably easier to adapt that to blue and yellow than blue and maize.

The original song was "black and yellow" by Wiz Khalifa, so the transition to blue and yellow was pretty seamless. Hopefully MGoBlog can eventually post this on the site, it looks like its a hit for us Mich fans.... State weekend hopefully it's blasting, I'm sure all their fans would enjoy the "ahem, more like little bitch" line
