Think he means he can play…

Think he means he can play himself into the 1st Round next year with a great showing as the feature rusher (vs. this year where he's basically spot duty and only shown flashes vs. subpar competition).

Just faced this issue. While YouTube TV won't let you stream via VPN, you can download the Fox Now app (or likely equivalent for other channels), and they don't block VPN.

Funny comments about Arsenal…

Funny comments about Arsenal, particularly since they're consistently equated with Michigan in "which EPL team matches your CFB team" clickbait nonsense...

hahaha... I think we all…

hahaha... I think we all know the answer to his question...

I get what you're saying but…

I get what you're saying but... MSU's other loss was to Purdue.

Even then, you can't compare 56-7 to 42-27 and 37-33. Absolute drubbing should and did automatically exclude them from further consideration as a peer to the other 2. Let alone S&P+, advanced stats, etc.

If this hypotheticaly person did want to delve further into solely what happened on the field, the 37-33 is further "discounted" vs. others given the unanimously-panned fumble-six call.

Sure, MSU's "OL is so bad"…

Sure, MSU's "OL is so bad" up till now.. Guarantee they dominate our DL on Saturday. Uncanny how they're able to turn season-long weaknesses into massive strengths vs. Michigan every year.

You're correct. The take…

You're correct. The take that "they set lines so the money is 50/50" is so far off reality.

Wrong

This is just incorrect. 6' 3"+ is the exception to the rule (Isner, Karlovic, etc).

The majority of top tennis players are right in the sweet spot between 5' 11" -  6' 2"... Crazy seeing you vehemently defend such a misguided comment.

Well..

You'll pretty much never hear about transfers to Princeton, seeing as they have essentially no grad programs..

Belichick and it's not close

Not sure how one can argue Brady makes Belichick... He coached the team to 11-5 with Matt Cassel and went 3-1 (easily) with 2 first-time starters.

Brady is the obvious GOAT, but who knows what he is without Belichick; we know what Belichick is without Brady.

Thank you!

Thanks for the info!

*you're

<eom>

You joke..

Because of the massive influx of Michigan fans, the price for this game is ~10x more than a normal Rutgers game (aka $100+ instead of $10+).

lol

You're definitely a Michigan fan chief, I believe you.

Sup chief

I get the massive inferiority complex that inherently drives you and your like to obsess over all things Michigan, but jw what satisfaction you get out of posting on a site entirely devoted to Michigan. Pls explain. Thanks chief.

How do you open this

How do you open this file on a Mac? It's coming up as an "m3u" and won't work.

Typo They took wagers for 24 hours then abruptly canceled them all today citing it as a "bad line" that wasn't supposed to be out there.
Really well made

Awesome video! Nice touch at the end.

That's fine Believe what you want; it doesn't make you any less wrong.
I'll feed you 1)Success at Stanford - unprecedented, BCS-winning, USC-beating success - is arguably more impressive than winning a natty at two powerhouse programs.

2)3 straight NFC title games and a Super Bowl - heck, 2 freak plays away from three straight Super Bowls - are also arguably as/more impressive.

3)Incredible player development. See, e.g., Toby Gerhart, Alex Smith, pretty much anyone recruited at Stanford really.

They're both great coaches, but argument one way or the other isn't insane.
Reports have varied

Pre-draft, most reports had shifted to Morris ahead of Malzone, albeit slightly.

Considering the trajectory (Week 1 of Spring he was considered to be lagging behind the other 2), it's very possible he ends up the cream of our current crop of QBs (Rudock notwithstanding).

Perhaps SF is an indicator

Caveated with the fact that yes, they were an NFL team, there are some parallels:

SF was bad/very bad before Harbaugh's arrival. They had a QB who the entire country had pretty much written off as a bust, and defensive talent that seemed to be untapped.

Enter Harbaugh: Alex Smith has an incredible 1.5 seasons and their defense is top notch, leading them to 3 straight NFC title games (and a couple absurd plays away from 3 straight Super Bowls).

Just some food for thought... May be wholly irrelevant due to NFL vs. NCAAF.

INCREDIBLE

DAMNIT I NEED MORE HARBAUGH

As a guy considering it

Any feedback from those, in that position, that attended one of H/Y/S?

Agree

Though I'd remove the "maybe" tag for HYS. They really do set you up for success regardless of if you want to be a lawyer (and of course almost guaranteed success, monetarily, if you choose to take the legal path).

I hate on the old staff as much as anyone

They may not have prepped individually for almost every team, including MSU, but have to give them some credit for The Game each year. 26-21 and 42-41 against very, very good teams, and a dead heat last year through 3 quarters against the eventual national champion.

QB Coach?

Weren't a lot of outlets reporting he'll be the QB Coach as well? Any thoughts on that Brian, given Harbaugh's penchant to always maintain that title?

Fisch confirmed

Sam Webb confirmed Fisch as WR coach a few minutes ago.

NBA?

It's the 2nd-highest rated sport in the country... That's not relevant?

I get Vegas

I understand how the books work. What I'm saying is they initially shut it down out of concern for a significant knowledge imbalance, notably because all of the money was pouring in on Michigan.

Why re-offer the line at 6:1, knowing it is likely significant chunks will be thrown at it, unless you're confident you'll be retaining that money?

Does not bode well

Considering the books initially took down the wager because they were worried "others knew more than we did," it doesn't look good for them to put them back up. More telling is the fact that they put them up with Michigan, the most heavily-bet item, at 6:1 after money brought it down to 2:1.

Looks like they know something others don't and they fully expect to reap the benefits of heavy action on Michigan...

The agent

He claims to have gone to HS with Harbaugh's agent, not Harbaugh.

Don't shoot the messenger, but..

OSU Scout Insider Nevadabuck is claiming that Harbaugh's agent, an old HS classmate of Nevadabuck's, has already told Michigan to move on.

Caveat

Brian did caveat his "defense" saying it was entirely based on hearing him speak at a coaching clinic. I respect Brian as much as the next guy, but judging a coach off his ability to speak doesn't count for much.

Yeah...

How Funk wasn't fired is absolutely baffling. Blame Borges all you want, but Funk put out a position group that ranked, what, dead last in the country? And he's retained?

Interesting...

Here you go

There's at least one...

You're clearly a Duke fan in some way. Your responses have made the mocking worthwhile.

Dymonte RS??

Huge! Wasn't aware he was eligible/the coaches were pursuing it.

Not to rain on the parade but...

Don't forget Jerry Montgomery was the coach of that DL. The one that tore up the vaunted Alabama OL for 7 sacks.

He left in 2013 though, so that's all that counts right???

"verge of returning this team to greatness"

What, exactly, makes you think that? He's churned out arguably the top OL classes in the country the past couple years... With nothing to show for it.

The youth excuse can only go so far; Auburn has shown coaching is much more important.

Yeah..

This is a sad example of ignorance. The general Michigan degree - not Business or Engineering - is what is still considered to be a top 25 degree. Business and Engineering are top 5 in their respective fields.

Saddest part?

I think it's the latter. And if Brian is to be trusted, that's an issue that won't be going away.

You do understand

Penn State's defense was equally awful... At the very least this gave us the all-consuming hope we desire for the rest of the season.

Not only that...

He defended his comment afterwards saying "uhh.. he's 11/14. But a lot of those have been off the mark."

COMEON MAANNNN

Gotcha

Thanks to you and MWolverine for the feedback. I understood the concept for O-linemen, but I guess I had a misconception for D-linemen; I thought their instant-impactability was near the level of skill position players.

Sorry, sorry

I meant "bust" relative to his 5-star, instant-impact status.  Even then, I was saying I hadn't heard anything about him being a bust.

As for your subject, it appears you're no more informed. Thanks for the feedback though.

Cause for concern?

I'm really curious as to what is happening with Pipkins. Came in with massive amounts of recruiting hype, had his RS burned with seemingly little impact, now...? Noone on the site has spoken of him as a bust at all, but I also haven't heard anything very positive either.

Am I missing something? Could someone more informed fill me in?

Junior year?

2005 was Vince Young's junior year (redshirt). He was an early entry.
