Indiana Blue

I was wondering about halftime when they announced that the game was 8 minute quarters with a 20 minute halftime, but Harbaugh pulled off a beauty when the recruits got the individual announcement to the fans!  I totally agree with you about the banner !!!

But just look at Harbaugh's genius ... Michigan was the ONLY team playing a spring game yesterday and it was at night, which was GREAT.  I didn't see any crowd estimates but there had to be close to 50K, plus BTN coverage on Michigan alone ... just a genius.

Was at the game and Speight seemed to be the best QB, but that is just like my opinion man.

The only thing that made me a little nervous was where he ran out of the pocket so much. I think he looked like he had a great arm. I loved his deep pass for a completion on the sideline. It is difficult to say if him running out of the pocket so much was due to the Offensive Line. I think it is too early to say who looked best based on the spring game. It was very nice seeing Speight look competent though. I liked that very much.

I think Speight do have an legit chance to compete the starting job. He has better pocket present, and is more comfortable in the pocket. He can occasionally run with his leg (with good play calling). suitable to a game manager like Rudock. His accuracy in long throw may not be as good as okorn. But he is 6'6, may have edge to throw midrange to our elite TE group.

Okorn just scramble too fast in my opinion, didn't spend enough time to scan the field. It seems that he's like the early stage of Rudock, last year, can only scan half of the field. Miss one or two wide open RB flat route on the other side of the field, which could lead to big gain.

Seemed like all the QBs showed some level of improvement from when we last saw them. Kinnel looks like a Dude. Drake Harris could contribute this year. Ty Isaac looks like he's toughened up a bit. Perry is going to save some bacon on 3rd downs this season IMHO. The QB battle this fall should be a legit cage-match.

got to see the Maize make that goal line stand, up close and personal. The QBs looked good and we got out of there without too many boo boos. Onwenu is a big man!
