Jake Moody passes Desmond Howard for career points
Saw this from Sports Illustrated: Jake Moody just passed Desmond Howard on Michigan’s list of all-time career points leaders on Saturday. According to SI, with 223 career points, he is now 23 points away from breaking into the top 10. I tried to find a list of the top 10 but could not find a source.
Moody is already top 3 for UM in both single season and single game FGs made as well as single season and career FG %, and top 5 in career FGs made. Here’s to seeing Money jump to #1 this season.

I had originally thought to post a response, but saw that an earlier reply had covered it, so I edited this. In fairness, this post is about as informative as the non-edited version, so thanks for the +1!

So basically if Moody has a season similar to last year he'll be in the Top 3 all time for sure, and possibly be #1

On the one hand, cool. On the other hand, I hope we score more touchdowns and less field goals and make him work for it.

Agreed! Last year he had 69 points from FGs and 56 for PATs. That's the most PATs ever in one season by a Michigan kicker. And it's a pretty good FG:PAT ratio.
His 125 total was the second-most points scored in a season, behind only Desmond Howard's 138 in his 1991 (Heisman) season.

Our punting and kicking game is a strength. We will need special teams' success and to protect the football to have a chance to run the table.
