Keith Jackson really needs to stop dying.
At least he never had this guy's problem:
this must be the mythic "Florida Man" of whom I've heard so much.
Oh great another Groudhogs Day knockoff. Who knew an entire action/drama/thriller genre was going to be created from an 80s comedy.
Well, at least the original post isn't on the first page anymore. I'll let it pass.
This was posted a couple weeks ago. It doesn’t really bother me or anything. I’m just sayin.
I’ve watched a few games so far. Mostly from the 1947 season. Michigan trucked nearly everyone that year, including USC in the Rose Bowl.
So much creativity in that offense. It’s a lot of fun to watch.
Is the film in slow motion? If not, the modern game is sooooo much faster.
I'm such a dummy. I was looking through this catalog, and I thought, what team is the "Hilites?" Sounds like a Jewish university that I never heard of before. Stupid me.
I remember them! Their star players were Goofus and Gallant.
Film from the archive prominently being featured in this year’s “There are…”!
Obviously more people should be checking out "There are..."
Hint to those who have NOT been checking out JWG Wolverine's work this year: rather than wading through all the games, an enormous task, JWG provides one film a day to fit that day's number.
Landed on the moon, Keith Jackson, etc. etc.
Live and learn. All this time yet I never knew Keith Jackson landed on the moon.
Keith Moon too???
Thoughts and prayers for the OP.
I wasted an afternoon watching these videos when the link was originally posted. I forgot how much my 13yr old self shook my fist at Bo for continuing to play Steve Smith.
Sounds like the same situation when my 12 year old son bitching at the TV about Harbaugh sticking with Milton for so long.
Went back and watched the Harbaugh to Kollesar bomb against Ohio State in '85. The CBS cameras completely botched this play in real time. They showed an awkward on field view of the pass and as soon as Kollesar catches it, the camera focuses on Harbaugh on the ground instead of Kollesar running into the end zone. The folks watching on TV got screwed out of seeing one of the most epic plays in big house history.
But this footage shows an AWESOME view of how much Kollesar had his man beat. And when he reaches the end zone? About 50 fans pile on top of him in celebration. That would probably get flagged today.
