There comes a time when uprooting your family every 4-5 years gets old, especially with young kids he has. He has said he and his wife want to raise their kids in a college town. He loves Michigan. He's got a great job/salary. Stick around, win many Natty's and then retire in 15-20 years.

IMHO it would be in his best interest to stay at Michigan. His coaching style fits better at the college level than the pros. My hope is that he coaches at michigan until he retires.

Your missing my point. I was not talking about the X's and O's , I was referring to how his style

of pushing to bring the best out of individuals and them being more open to it than someone who has made it to the league.

of a rival fan base, but I find it humorous when I talk to Buckey fans that they are so confident Harbaugh will be gone in 3-5 years.  It is almost that they want it to happen so bad that they have convinced themselves that it is impossible for him to stay at a school he loves and played for until the end of his career.  In my opinion, there is a better chance that Urban leaves before Harbaugh.  I anticipate both of them staying for the long haul which will be an epic battle.

This is good to hear, of course, although it will probably not put the NFL talk to rest only because the beat writers are so stymied by how he could have left the league that they must believe this stint at Michigan is but a short vacation as coaching careers go, or least it seems like they think this.

This is of no importance to Adam Schefter, of course, who will simply roll the narrative into a prediction regarding NFL expansion, so now it is simply "Singapore is still in play", allowing for the 20-25 years.

Singapore would be an interesting choice for expansion. It's full of Western expats but they're mostly English and Australian. There aren't a ton of Americans in town.

Most Singaporeans with a sporting passion are fans of Manchester United or Liverpool. The number two sport is basketball. Joseph Schooling has brought a lot of attention to swimming in a country where the only prior Olympic medals have been from Chinese imports in ping pong.

Boat Quay and Clarke Quay are home to a lot of Australian bars with AFL affiliation.

I think you could make a Singaporean franchise work, but it would have to be NBA rather than NFL. There's just no audience for American football.

Though many coaches will say stuff like this when Harbaugh does I just believe him.  When he said he does sat. camps to promote football I believe him. When he tells other coaches to shut up and mind their own business I believe he means it. The man doesn't have a deceptive bone in his body.

The only way I see him wanting to leave for the NFL is if a lot of things happen. First, he's talked about he has to do well here. I couldn't see him leaving without several B1G championships, several wins against OSU, a national championship (or at least a playoff appearance or two), a Heisman Trophy winner (or an Andrew Luck-esque player), and leaving the program in good hands for his successor. Second, I bet he'd like to see his kids grow up the way he did, going to the same school and living in the same neighborhood as he did. And his parents are nearby and getting older. Maybe after he's accomplished all he can at UM, his kids are older, his son Jay got a new gig, and his parents are gone I could see him leaving. But all of that is likely 10+ years down the road. And at that point he's probably no longer in his prime, his brother might be out of the league, and he has nothing left to prove except winning a super bowl so why would you want to leave?

I could be dead wrong about it. Maybe he just wants to win here for a few seasons and leave the program in good hands, but it seems likes he's just got it too good here to give all of that up.
