Genuinely Sarcastic: OWNED

Boom, roasted. GS just got fisked by this guy.
I didn't write the article. I just linked it.
Actually, it was Rich Rod himself who went into the Monday afternoon meetings the week of the Purdue game and TOLD Shafer that they would be implementing the 3-3-5 "Stack" defense against Purdue. It was not Shafer's choice to do so. He was following the orders of the head coach.
I don't know where you got that information, I assumed Schafer was responsible for the defense given he was the Defensive Coordinator. But the bottom line is that if RR felt Schafer wasn't to blame for the defensive struggles then he wouldn't have fired him.
When your head coach orders you to switch your defensive scheme, you do so. That's exactly what Shafer did.
You have a lot of learning to do.
A defensive coordinator does not put in a brand new defense unless the head coach suggests/approves it. And considering the fact that Shafer had never run a 3-3-5 stack before that game, whose idea do you think it was - Shafer's or the guys who had just come from WVU where they ran the 3-3-5 stack?
are you the guy who writes for that blog? I guess this will get you some Google Ad money then.
That has had a record of 30-9 in favor of the Wolverines since 1970, it becomes a little harder for Sparty fans to pretend the rivalry is as competitive as Michigan's rivalries with ND and OSU without being accused of "living in the past."
Irony: isn't that what *we're* accused of?
Let's go to Cedar Point
Redcedar87 somehow accumulated enough points to post a forum topic. We have gotten lazy, and must hone our senses in order to identify trolls much sooner.
Remember 8/9/09, the day we let the Michigan nation down. Never again.
As a Spartan, even he was glad The ES was cut from the BlogPoll, which gave him like 25 points, and might I add fully justified.
Clearly he was careful to gain our trust before turning on us.
Til, October 3, this is all silly Reindeer Games.....Talk is cheap.......
I trust everything in the world will be righted on October 4,
we will hear the usual from Lansing..
"WAIT UNTIL BASKETBALL SEASON....."
However, Coach B and the boys will have something to say about that....
GO BLUE.......
I was doing yard work, and just realized the symbolism of Red Cedar Mulch....
NEVER AGAIN
Step up to the Cypress, you'll never go back.
Jabberwock, loud and clear.....still love the avatar, makes me smile every time.
Hm, I just noticed that there are a couple pages discussing this over at the RCMB. And at SpartanMag, there is a thread (on their premium board) titled "UM Fan to the Spartan Nation: 'We will bury you' (Link)". That's reached multiple pages too.
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume they aren't nominating me for a Pulitzer.

Poor effort. He never once said that Other Brian needs a haircut. Lame.

No, redcedar, you WISH he was fisked. JollyGreenGiant wrote a reaction if anything, not a counterargument refuting GS's statement. Besides, he largely agreed with a bunch of GS's points (mainly the ones about the Michigan fanbase--go figure). JGG didn't really say anything that really blew GS's argument out of the water. And it certainly wasn't a roast--do you even know what a roast is??

Judging by what was called the roast of Joan Rivers last night, there were far too few references GS being the offspring of andy dick and a horse. But the drunken Tom Arnold making no sense style was spot on.

that this "fisker" made no mention of what I thought was the real meat of the GS piece - the systematic dismantling of the "Rodriguezized" thread.
For example, I'm still waiting for an explanation as to how Will Campbell has been "Rodriguezized" when he's ON THE TEAM!

Is that a Mobb Deep reference, sir?

I stole it from an episode of Cheap Seats where they were making fun of the National Spelling Bee and they gave the nickname to a particularly tiny Indian boy.
Maybe I should've just said yes - getting it from Mobb Deep sounds cooler. Oh well.
