Friday the 13th ain't a problem when it happens on Friday the 13th, cuz you're prepared for it.
It's when Friday the 13th sneaks up on you on a Wednesday or a Saturday that you have to worry.
Like the gif: #14 gets clunked and then thunked, and why? Because of #13 in the picture, apparently innocent and not involved, but ultimately the cause, and then clunked thunked himself.

I need a bang to get me started. Today is the beginning of a weekend-long grading grind. Final exams and final papers for two 50-student classes.
Alternatively, I could just do this, finish grading in 30 minutes, and go on a weekend-long bender:
suggestion: multiple choice exams and a sheet reader.
I'm not good at multiple choice exams. Though they seem easy to make, for me at least it was tough.
On one hand, trying to test students' understanding of the difference between something that is right and only seems right can make questions too hard. On the other hand, questions can get so easy that anyone could answer them.
Wait! You can do that? Wish I'd known.
Don't you just have a "Pass" stamp? OTOH, sonny boy is working hard so, I would love it if his teachers reciprocate the feeling :D

good luck turkey hunting. one of my favorite hunts. i will say though, this is the least amount of turkeys we have ever had out our way. just a few, only a couple of gobbles so far this entire spring.
I shot a bearded hen on the 2nd Saturday, my 2nd time out. I heard one gobble in 2 days, way far off. The two brothers who live on and own the property told me they see toms all the time. "You should have been here yesterday."
BTW - I thought the hen was a jake with a long, skinny beard. She came in down a hill silhouetted against the morning sky. The beard was obvious, so I shot. Quite a shock to come up and see it was a hen.
Must have migrated south. They're everywhere around here now.
I was born on a Friday the 13th, so I've never considered the day to be unlucky.

Ah yes.... My youngest, who graduated Magna Cum Laude a week ago, has accepted an offer to be the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Oklahoma Warriors of the NAHL.
The lad is headed off to Oklahoma City (after we get back from a week on the beach at North Topsail Island that is).
