Fitzgerald Toussaint arrested for drunk driving [EDIT: Fitz suspended indefinitely by Hoke]
Please tell me this isn't true! Please tell me it's another Kinesiology Student from Michigan named Frank Clark that was arrested for 2nd degree home invasion.
just a very short time before the start of fall drills.
Saline is not a place to break the law
thread I was looking for.
Shitty shit shit.
Ironic ad placement at the top of my MGoBlog page: The headline reads "A DUI can cost you thousands." It was for some legal service. Nice.

OK #1, innocent until proven guilty. Granted, it looks bad....looks like Fitz did it... but for once can we just let the process that is in place for this stuff take its course?
#2 Coach Hoke will levy an appropriate punishment at the appropriate time. We aren't SEC. We aren't OSU. We aren't MSU. Coach has that ingrained in him as much or more than any of us. There is no reason to think he won't do the right thing.
#3 If/when Coach does lower the boom on Fitz...... if Fitz pays the price and does what the team asks of him to get back to playing status, I will welcome him back with open arms. All you "one mistake - you're out the door" guys.... well I'm glad you weren't my Dad growing up. People screw up. Hopefully they then pay the price, learn, and change their behavior. If Fitz does that I'd still be proud to see him wearing the winged helmet.
#4 There are other players who can step up if/when Fitz gets his punishment. There are a few more guys who can do some damage... one of those guys is the Dilithium god himself...maybe you've heard of him. Maybe Rawls, maybe Smith.... maybe someone at a position other than RB, or maybe even on the other side of the ball. Honestly, we need all those maybes to step up even if Fitz plays. In order to beat 'Bama we're going to need monumental games from a lot of players, not just whoever is toting the rock at RB.
"We aren't MSU."
I wouldn't get to eff'n smug--two making the papers on the same day ain't exactly choir practice.
We're not saying kids don't do stupid things at Michigan. We're saying that the adults in charge will make appropriate decisions. And yeah, we're smug about that.
missed a combined 20 testing sessions and meetings during one summer, and no one on the U-M staff seemed to notice?
By my count Stonum got about 23 chances before he was finally bounced. He really had to work at it but Hoke couldn't let a second offense go after Stonum had thumbed his nose at the law after the first.
Zero.
And all players are "suspended indefinitely" when these incidents first come to light. Are you kidding?
Are we really stooping to "how many DUIs do your players have??" arguments and posting links from 2009? College kids everywhere **** up all the time. All that can really be said about it and I really don't think today is the day to be calling out MSU fans.
The Fitz highlight reel just got erased.
Well guys, the pipe dream of beating Bama was fun while it lasted.
You realize half of those posts are said tongue in cheek, right?
This is extremely disappointing. With that being said, I have to wonder about the people saying "Guess we have no chance at Bama now."
Was our gameplan ever really going to be to run Fitz down their throats? I really don't believe so. Not against Bama. This is a blow, but not as huge a blow as some think, in my opinion.
