De'veon Smith scores for Arlington Renegades
Former Michigan stalwart scores on TD run in the fourth quarter to give Arlington the lead. Great to see him have success.
Unfortunately, during a sideline interview after the score, he mentioned that his brother passed earlier this week. Condolences to him. Best of luck going forward.
We will never forget that touchdown where he disappeared into the pile, and then somehow teleported out of it for a long, beautiful touchdown
Twas awesome. This is not the edited one with the teleport animation, if anyone finds that post here too.
I’ve watched this at least 50 times. I’ve yet to be successful tracking him through that pile. It looks like he teleported.
One of the great runs in Michigan football history. Thanks to you and mgoblue_in_bay for digging up the additional highlights. Smith had excellent power and balance.
the part where he switches the ball to his right hand and then casts aside #15 at the 10 yard line like a chew toy is just magnificent!
Wild to hear Spielman on the color. He’s come a long way.
One of Harbaugh’s first games. Big win over BYU
DeVeon is still out there grinding. That's cool. He must love the game because it sure doesn't pay well for getting your body beat up. And bless him but if he hasn't made the League by now it ain't happening. But he wore the winged helmet and will always be part of the Michigan family. Much respect for the man.
Man, I can’t believe he’s still at it. Good for him!
That TD run was part of a game where we were unranked and beat a ranked BYU team. It took 6 more years before we finally reached major success but loved that guy for his work ethic.
Was De’veon the player who asked questions about the post game food and was kicked off a team when the USFL or XFL was just restarting?
He got cut for asking for pizza instead of chicken salad. One of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen.
Wait until I tell you about cheeseburgers vs Lambos.
Loved De'Veon's tough running against the Hoosiers in the 2016 snow game. We might not've won without his effort.
