He’s 42 years old and seems to a have promising coaching career ahead of him. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Murray State before spending the next four years as an assistant at Texas A&M and Georgia. In 2019 he took over as head coach at Kennesaw State. They had won 16 games total in the two seasons before his arrival. He got off to a slow start going 1-28, 5-19, and 13-18 in his first three seasons before leading them to a 26-9 record and their first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 2016 and second since 2008. In 2023 he became the head coach at USF and has led them to a 24-6 record and their first ever regular season title. They’re currently in the AAC tournament semifinal and are currently projected to be in the NCAA tournament.

AA in AA? Has a nice ring to it. But, Michigan's BB NIL is so underdeveloped that I wonder if it will limit the the number of coaches that will want to come with such challenges.

After seeing his face I remembered that I know him from somewhere.  Then it dawned on me...

Two of my kids graduated form Kennesaw State (hootie hoo!) and one goes there now.  His face was on billboards here in ATL.

Dylan has an article on this at umhoops but I’d be down for Porter Moser. He has a lot of ties to the Midwest and may want to come back to the region and had a lot of success with Loyola. He’s still relatively young and looks like he’ll make the tourney this year with Oklahoma so also had some high major experience. We basically need somebody who’s not afraid of building from the ground up. His style reminds me of Beilein a little bit.
