Cade McNamara slings his way to 6th place at Elite 11
Cade seems to have represented himself and Michigan very well at the Elite 11 finals.

4-star Michigan quarterback commit Cade McNamara — a former Notre Dame pledge — earned sixth place among the nation’s Elite 11 quarterbacks earlier this week at The Opening Finals in Frisco, Texas.
Despite Team Elite — his 7-on-7 team — failing to win a game, McNamara acquitted himself well, tossing seven touchdowns to only two interceptions over two games. Luke Stampini of 247 reported ($), “He spun the ball well all week.”
This rope for a touchdown validated this view.
Early inaccuracy held him back from rising any further. He connected on 34-of-59 passes for an overall mark of 58 percent, which ranked second-lowest among the group.
Oklahoma commit Sam Rattler took home “Alpha Dog” honors for first place.
McNamara talked about rebounding well from early struggles.
“For me to struggle on the first day, then really come back and really deal the rest of the tournament,” he said, “I’m pretty satisfied with myself.”
This resilience continues a desire from Jim Harbaugh to value the intangibles over strictly the physical ability.
“I mean, he loved my toughness, my leadership,” McNamara said to MLive’s Aaron McMann Sunday on his recruitment, “just a lot of the stuff that won’t show up on TV. And that meant a lot to me.”
McNamara returns to his hometown of Reno, Nev. to prepare for Damonte Ranch High School’s season opener on Aug. 24 against Granite Bay (Calif.). He looks to build off an already staggering career, boasting 9,089 passing yards and 107 touchdowns.
I would expect Cade's 247 ranking to move up into the top 200 (he is currently 310 / #10 Pro QB).
Rival's and ESPN are barely trying at this point so who really cares what they do.

One more small correction, it's Spencer Rattler.
Too bad we can no longer upvote OPs. Appreciate yours.
Thank you - much appreciated

What if people are so lazy like me that they can't be bothered to highlight the link.
He seems to have excelled at Commit recruiter as well, which may be more important than his elite 6/11th.
*6/12
It was a baker’s 11.
Sam Rattler? Seriously? Perfect name for an OU QB.
It's too bad Sam Rattler couldn't have played against Colt McCoy for the ultimate Oklahoma-Texas battle.
Cade McNamara != Cade McNown.
I had glanced by this and irrationally thought you were discussing the latter Cade. Who I became acquainted with, and wished a pox upon his house, through the Bears front office. My first triggering, who'd a thunk it? Good luck Cade McNamara. Suffer Hell's own horrors, Cade McNown. That is all.
