If you've not been around that long, August represents not only a transition in content but also a very awkward psychological transition on the blog, so posbangs on non-standard days and posbangs not related to a game or significant sporting event do happen occasionally. However one celebrates the return of substantive football coverage, its return is welcome.

I'll upvote everybody for this posbang, but this is like the 2nd or 3rd posbang today.  Does this mean there will not be a posbang later tonight for the Friday posbang?..I need a little recovery time.

practice starts I really miss playing until I remember I'm old and not in the best shape and would probably pass out in 15 minutes. But still, the smell and taste of cut grass and getting the first full pads drill going...

And I'm thankful for the opportunity to enjoy intelligent and amusing football conversation every single day out here. It's awesome.

Have any of you seen what the Tampa Bay Bucs are doing to make football game day better for the ladies in their region? Game day fashion and cooking advice and videos on what complex football concepts mean ... like "What's a game clock?" No lie.
