Some film must have finally made the rounds because 2024 DL commit Manuel Beigel has checked in as a 3 star on the 247 composite.

Beigel was previously an unranked "0 star" who played his first year of US High School football this past fall at Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut.

Per 247Sports, Beigel gets an 88, is the #33 DL in the country, and #5 player from CT. Per On3, he is the #40 Interior OL in the country, and #6 player in CT, good for an 87 rating. Rivals and ESPN have not rated him yet. These two ratings are good for the #452 player in the 247 Composite, with a 0.8750 rating. That mid-400s range is similar to where Kenneth Grant and Cameron Brandt of the past two classes finished up.

I still haven't been able to find much film on him online, but what I have been able to find he was playing OL. For him to be initially slotted where is is a good sign imo. Still new to football, has a frame that can add more weight, and room to improve

Choate's a school known for it's academics.  And, if the staff seems to have a found a smart, talented young man - with a lot of potential, my thinking is...

247 had him in a recent recruits to keep and eye on sort of article and seemed relatively high on him. Also seemed like he’s playing mostly OL based on their write up and had projection of him at DL going forward.
