I'm not as high on Simpson. He's a great defender no doubt. But I'd never want to have to rely on him from an offensive perspective. And I think we've seen well enough that high output offenses tend to rule the day over stout defenses.

That being said, I seem to recall rumors that Simpson has really improved his shot over the summer. And if so, then watch out! 0.0

There was a video a while back.  It looks improved.  I have noticed, however, that it easier for players to shoot wide-open threes in off-season hype videos than it is to do so in a game with a good defender in their face.

I would expect Simpson's shooting to improve to "sporadically moderately respectable."

So... yes, he is a great defender.

Eh, I still think it's better to just not play them.  We lost to NJIT, and although a very embarrassing loss, I didn't hear any sorta catcalls.  But by just playing App St, we'll still hear The Horror brought up.

We all live deep within the BPONE and spend countless hours self-inflicting emotional damage.  We've all lived through The Horror, The punt, the spot, Pitch the ball to Breaston, the goal against Miami (NTM) crossed the line before the whistle, etc, etc.  Nothing can hurt any of us anymore.
It's just annoying.  I don't like annoying.

That is really early for the first MSU game.  I hope we still have a Michigan football game to watch after that game.

I predict 24-8 (13-5 in the B1G) heading into the B1G tourney

Non-conference losses are NC, L'ville (it was a clean block), and Oregon.

Looks like we lucked out this year with where the schedule lands in regards to spring break. Team plays 3 games that week (Sunday to Sunday) but only one of them is home and it's against Nebraska. I always hate when a big game falls that week, glad to see that looks to be working out well this season.
