Recruiting - what people don't know

Submitted by THE_KNOWLEDGE on

.
On the recent commitment of Kyle Kalis, many Michigan fans became excited at landing such a highly rated prospect
.
And they have reason to, because Kalis will develop into a great contributor on the football field
.
yes
.
But, THE KNOWLEDGE laughs at many folks on this website and other places that think they know which prospects to get excited about
.
Many indeed was the  number of folks that were considerably less excited about the commitment of a less heralded, and mostly unknown, prospect to the 2012 Michigan class
.
these people are idiots
.
and the name of that prospect is Sione Houma
.
yes
.
The proprietor and #2 writer on this blog, B. Cook himself seemed less than thrilled about the commitment of Houma; naturally less knowledgeable ordinary fans followed suit
.
but THE KNOWLEDGE is not ordinary as everyone knows
.
THE KNOWLEDGE soars and basks in glory due to his great abiltities, more than anyone can ever dream of
.
yes
.
with the future in hindsight, THE KNOWLEDGE reveals that Houma is the most important commitment of the class
.
He will be the best player on the field, and will earn muti-year All-American honors
.
yes
.
On to other matters
.
The event most people are awaiting in the next few days is the decision of the NCAA on the heinous violations committed at OSU
.
so they can know if the answered THE QUESTION correctly
.
yes
.
THE KNOWLEDGE, of course, already knows the result, but will not reveal it in order to keep the excitement growing until it reaches a crescendo

.
THE KNOWLEDGE will return in the future to congratule the winners of THE QUESTION and also to reveal the season review for Michigan
.
yes

I'm curious if The_KNOWLEDGE is our dear leader's deranged alter ego driven to emerge during times of great insanity.

I, for one, have never seen them post in the same place at the same time.

He has existed from the morning of the world and shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although he has taken the form of Gaius Caligula, he is all men as he is no man and therefore he is a god.

I don't even know WTF any of that means.  In fact, its so unintelligable I think I will upvote you for exercising my brain.  But someone will then have to downvote you to cancel out my upvote because its ridiculous that I'm going to upvote you for being an a--hole.

I just moved to the Salt Lake City area and live within a couple miles of Houma's high school. I would be happy to try and get some video of him playing this fall, if anyone is interested.

I wish there was a way to transfer THE_KNOWLEDGE's character to another medium. I think he'd be a nice comedic relief guy that replaces the now omnipresent 'Dilfer'-type.

The OP is just not funny.  It would be nice if he were funny.  Funny is good.  His writing is not even really all that clever.  But the lowest common denominator group think crowd here deems him hilarious, therefore it must be so.

I see what you did there and I don't like being called a "lowest common denominator" by the likes of you.  You can simply state that you do not find the post funny and move along - no reason to demean people who think otherwise.  The personal attack was unprovoked and is inappropriate.

P.S.  Its funny that the last time I saw you, you were spending time explaining to everyone the definition of an ad homenem attack and then you let loose with one of your own.  Pretty hypocritical, no?

I don't believe I ever claimed that I would never make one, just that the argument in question was not one.  For what it is worth, I was not refering to any one particular person.  It was more a wry observation on the power of group think and social cohesion.   That you were moved to comment on my remarks is in itself interesting.
