Hello from the Future: Leonard Taylor Comment Count

Brian

2018 OH DE Leonard Taylor just pulled the trigger after Michigan's spring game:

Taylor is the teammate of OH LB Antwuan Johnson, Michigan's first 2018 commit, and an early top-25 prospect on 247, the only service with 2018 rankings at the moment. Scout doesn't have a list yet but does rate him a four-star DE; ESPN and Rivals haven't put up 2018 data yet. Validating that 247 ranking is an impressive suite of early offers including the big four in the Midwest (M, OSU, PSU, ND) and Tennessee.

He could end up on the DL or as a tight end; I didn't see any actual scouting at any of the sites yet. Steve Lorenz, who was predicting that Taylor might drop for Michigan, simultaneously warned that Michigan would have to fight to keep him. So keep that in the back of your mind; for now Michigan has struck first, and twice, in Ohio in the 2018 class.

A Buckeye acquaintance...about as far as I will go...tells me he isn't too worried about him. I explain his current ranking and then tells me Urbz is on higher recruits. Granted he has plenty of time to back off a verbal commitment. He isn't pleased with us getting a verbal from an Ohio kid, but my favorite part is everytime I run into him is he talks Harbaugh. It definitely has their panties in a bunch and I LOVE IT!!!! Harbaugh garners so much attention...I think most follow him on social media just to know what is going on. Another thing...they are not too happy about the AD backing down from Harbaugh. IT'S ALL PART OF THE PLAN...AND IT'S DRIVING OUR RIVALS CRAZY!!!!! I say this in AZ of course...keep it up BLUE!!

because believing it will stick drives them crazy, just like it did us when we saw Damon Webb, Michael Jackson, Mike Weber, etc. commit to them.  They did stick and you better believe Urban and staff spent a lot of time making their commitments stick.  Harbaugh and staff will do the same thing with these OH kids.  It is only a matter of time before we begin getting elite talent out of Ohio and the rivalry between Harbaugh and Urban is going to be great!

Welcome aboard Mr. Taylor and GO BLUE!

Congrats and welcome to Michigan, Leonard! You chosen very wisely.

This continues the trend of ridiculous awesomeness in defensive line play and recruiting. I've always thought DL and QB were the two most important positions in football. We're looking real good at both, guys.

I am making $89/hour working from home. I never thought that it was legitimate but my best friend is earning $10 thousand a month by working online, that was really surprising for me, she recommended me to try it. You will lose nothing, just try it out on the following website. ►►► www.NetNote70.com

they're crafted for the sort of people who think the moon landings were faked. Since they're so obviously ridiculous, the ads automatically weed out people who have a clue, and those who do respond are basically pre-sold because of their gullibility. The cost of sales is pretty low, in other words.

The ads are dispersed in such large numbers by small-time scammers with no overhead that even a low eventual conversion rate can still make nice $$.

The Nigerian prince scam is essentially an internet version of the classic pigeon drop con.

Welcome, Leonard

I think Harbaugh has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.

I may eay my words eventually but I think having a teammate also committed to Michigan is going to help him stick. Not only has he committed to UM, but he has likely committed to Johnson on going to a school together.

They are still 15/16 year old kids though so you never know what can happen over the next 2 years.

Either way, Go Blue!

He reminds me a lot of Devin Asiasi. Big body, mobile, can play TE or DE. And just like Asiasi, Taylor got some snaps at wildcat. His basketball film is pretty good too--just a great athlete in a huge body. Here's to hoping we can hold on to him and Antuwan Johnson as well, makes it a little easier with the two being teammates and good friends.
