Scout lists him as an OLB and 10 pounds lighter than Rivals, so it sounds like he has some position flexibility.

You mean I can have balls to the wall and position flexibility?
It's a dream come true!

Perhaps it would be better for us to just post a link to the player's profile instead of just taking a screencap of the entire thing and placing it here. I know some of us aren't fans of the pay sites, but the bottom line is that without them, a lot of us would be much more in the dark about recruiting. Guys like TomVH can only do so much for free. And it's free to view a player's profile, so I don't know why a screencap is necessary.

Wait so spelling things wrong and being an idiot are now the definitions of trolling? Guess mgo has a lot of trolls then.

Good night! Who did they play against? Half of your tackles being made behind the line of scrimmage is just insane.

I don't think so, he just had a ton of offers from bigger programs. Here is a piece from "The Top 10 Most Surprising Commitments from 2010" on Rivals:
Buzz: Moreland turned down offers from USC, UCLA, Texas A&M, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State and others when he committed to SMU this summer in one of the biggest head-scratching moves this recruiting cycle. One of Moreland's coaches said the four-star defensive end wanted to be a big fish in a small pond so SMU is a better fit than those Pac-10 teams.

I'm glad Anthony Zettel isn't on this list. He definitely could be.

Excellent. I am really stunned at how this recruiting has turned out. I was convinced we would have around 10-12 recruits this year. Wow. Just Wow.
Hoke has done so many things to make me jump on his bandwagon, I'm thoroughly impressed with the job he has done thus far.

Bandwagon? I think it should be called Freight Train..

I'm curious why this guy turned down some great Pac 10 schools for SMU. SMU is of course a good school, but the football program is only so so.

... He wanted to be "a big fish in a small pond"

I miss the Michigan Tight End waggle.
January 25th, 2011 at 4:25 PM ^
I wonder if Hoke is trying to maximize this class in light of the fact that there may be some attrition this spring?
January 25th, 2011 at 4:48 PM ^
I love that he never gives up on a play, always seems to want to get a hit on the ball carrier.
January 25th, 2011 at 4:54 PM ^
I particularly enjoyed the late hit out of bounds highlight at the 0:50 mark.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:13 PM ^
This kid really comes off the ball. That burst can't be taught but if you pair that with a few pass rush moves, you may have yourself a very special player.

Moreland is obviously handpicked by Mattison to play his hybrid DE/OLB position. Once he puts a bit of weight on, he will be perfect for it.

Well, we know he can run after seeing that video
