The Lions offensive line is piss poor !
Raiola is the most overrated and the worst run blocking center in the league, to go along with the biggest mouth on the team, when he has not done dick !
Hopefully in this upcoming nfl draft, with center being so deep, they draft a center and get rid of this bum !
Once the lions can improve their run blocking, that passing game will be crazy !
defensively, need a couple lbs , a safety and another corner

Look like trash today. Hopefully we can go into the locker-room down by less than 10.
November 14th, 2010 at 1:58 PM ^
Someone please tell me how Gosder Cherilus beat out Jon Jansen in training camp.

Anyone have a link to the Lions game that's not super slow?
November 14th, 2010 at 2:01 PM ^
Lions recover!!! please go down and score...this is bull shit

I picked that guy up in my fantasy league in like week 1.5, seriously the best fantasy move I've ever made. That guy just gets points.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
We better not give up a sack today. We are holding way too much to give them anything.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:10 PM ^
Now we're out of FG range.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:11 PM ^
Linehan = GERG of the pros
November 14th, 2010 at 2:17 PM ^
I like Linehan, he's built a good defense. He just hasn't coached them well in my opinion. His defense works great in Madden, just not in real life.
On another note: Did anyone know that Schwartz used to listen to radio stations for advice and TV broadcasts for the center's play calls?
November 14th, 2010 at 2:21 PM ^
Linehan is the o-coordinator. Absolute lack of adjustments and terrible play calling. Seriously makes me want to cry like a little girl.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:31 PM ^
Linehan is the OC. And his playcalling sucks.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:50 PM ^
I kinda figured you had no idea what you're talking about....
November 14th, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
Lions vs Cowboys next week will have 100 yards of total offense and 250 yards of penalties. Book it.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:13 PM ^
BUT ALL THESE FUCKING PENALTIES ARE RIDICULOUS
November 14th, 2010 at 2:26 PM ^
Just kick the FG, my heart can't take it.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:30 PM ^
un-fucking-believable (this was before the interception was ruled incomplete...)
however, what a dog shit first half....
November 14th, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
hey, a spartan made a play for us!
November 14th, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
This team would find a way to burn Jello.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:30 PM ^
I understand the fascination with the NFL and 'power run game', but when a team doesn't have the necessary tools to RUN, don't do it.
Does Linehan just want to be able to go in at halftime and say, "We ran 20 times in the first half to establish the run"? Uh, when to run is the key. You don't have to run every first down and put yourself in a 2nd and 9, run again, then make every 3rd down conversion 7+ yds.
"Well, at least we have a balanced attack". Yay, congratulations team with balanced attack.
Oh, and maybe you don't throw the checkdown for 2 yards when its 3rd and 14 and CJ is in single coverage on the outside on the opposite side. Hill, you didn't even look that way.
(Cathartic? Yes)
November 14th, 2010 at 2:39 PM ^
Right now it looks like they're doing the fucking. Is anyone more bi-polar than Houston?
November 14th, 2010 at 2:42 PM ^
The Chargers?
November 14th, 2010 at 2:43 PM ^
I think they're prettybi-polar, but I agree, the Texans are on again off again.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:48 PM ^
They kill me every week. But not the Rams. They're just a bad team that's starting to look good. Growing pains. They're 6-2 against the spread with the only team better than them...wait for it....the Lions. 7-1. But Houston seems to be a different team every half, no more every week.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:44 PM ^
Turk McBride - MEMO: Don't run upfield as the RB goes by you. You just gave up the longest run of the year for Fred Jackson.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:45 PM ^
rain + lions run game = a not fun second half to watch = loss
November 14th, 2010 at 2:49 PM ^
Was, at one time, a pretty good LB. That time is not now.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:49 PM ^
Holy crap. This looks like Michigan's defense.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:49 PM ^
a fucking disgrace...
November 14th, 2010 at 2:50 PM ^
They just invented this new thing called "tackling." Word has yet to spread to Detroit.
November 14th, 2010 at 2:56 PM ^
This team looks flat and unprepared. The Jets are going to beat us twice.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:01 PM ^
Has turned into Henne v. Young. Again. It's weird to here them say "you know Young isn't going to run with it" (due to injury). I wish that was always the case.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:09 PM ^
The lions are playing to hold onto that coveted 0-16 record that they played so hard to earn.
BTW, Shawn Hill blows!!!
November 14th, 2010 at 3:17 PM ^
But what does that say about Stanton? (Obligatory cheap shot after all the smack he used to talk and not back up).
November 14th, 2010 at 3:11 PM ^
i do have Redzone. Thats the best $7 a month you can spend.
No commercials ever and the guy hosting it is pretty good too.
To answer the question about showing blacked out games highlights....yes...they cut to the games even if they are blacked out.
The Lions are almost un-watchable. Redzone makes Sundays bearable.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
Who has Sunday Ticket, but he controls the remote. Except this friend can see the future and always knows which is the best game to flip to, and knows when to split screen.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
I've totally given up hope that our offense can score and am counting on defense and special teams.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:18 PM ^
Love the gameplan by the offense. Run...get stuffed....Run...get stuffed again....Then pass on third and long...BRILLIANT!!!!
November 14th, 2010 at 3:30 PM ^
Congrats you qualify to be the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator! I'm getting a permanent palm print on my forehead.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:21 PM ^
I've totally given up hope on the defense and am now counting solely on the special teams.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:20 PM ^
all day with no commercials is GREAT.
I wonder how long before they start adding them in. Redzone is very popular and i bet as time goes by they will incorporate commercials.
Watching an NFL game start to finish now is sheer torture with a commercial every 6 or 7 minutes.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:21 PM ^
Going out now too! Hopefully for only a couple of plays...
November 14th, 2010 at 3:23 PM ^
to post this http://semichigansports.blogspot.com/2010/11/3-god-damned-points-or-half-time.html. I need a drink...
November 14th, 2010 at 3:36 PM ^
the same ole' Lions would emerge. Fucking embarassing.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:50 PM ^
...are regressing before our very eyes. They will never get better until there is a change in ownership.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:41 PM ^
On a catch just like the infamous Calvin Johnson one.
November 14th, 2010 at 3:45 PM ^
is making a big contribution in his first game as a Titan.
November 14th, 2010 at 4:00 PM ^
find it funny the lions are still in this game?
