Apparently it’s OK to slug your opponent in the stomach under the basket as frequently as you like provided that you have the ball in the other hand. I thought Mo was going to vomit from the repeated elbows.

and his first half of the season was very good, but he has hit a freshman wall or something mentally. I like the guy just think he needs fewer minutes lately. Ilike the three guards, Teske and Wagner line up.

A quick look at the box score suggests somewhere between 37-39 (!) first half-possessions, putting both the 24 (wow!) and the 37 (meh) in context. Iowa with 12 first half turnovers. Michigan with 5, but none in the last ten minutes or so. Michigan absolutely crushing Iowa on the boards — 27.3% OREB and 86.7% DREB (Iowa has 2 OREBs). Michigan probably needs to get to 75 to feel comfortable here, as I have to imagine Iowa will stop tossing the ball to the Wolverines. Go Blue!

Just win by 10-15 and it’s all good because next one is gonna be the big one. A win against OSU will secure a 7 seed even if we were to lose to both Maryland and Pedo state

Sorry, there’s no way that beating OSU will secure a 7 seed. Beating OSU might secure a berth, at best. The Big Ten is weak this year, and losing out after beating OSU will impress nobody. They’re currently a 9 on the Bracket Matrix.

Thanks in part to Iowa’s 3 OREBs, the pace is much slower so far in the second half. The slower pace is a good thing for Michigan in general and for Michigan with a lead in particular.
