Wagner with some great postgame comments

From the Detroit News:

A couple of choice comments:

“It’s awesome when they slap the floor, the crowd goes wild and then you hit one and everybody’s silent again,”
"The whole last minute was so much fun because you kind of know you’re going to win, but they’re still talking, which is weird,” Wagner said. “Why would you talk when you lose?"

I read that with his accent and all. I work with many Europeans. Because they don’t know all the “sugar-coating” words we Americans love to use, they end up being very blunt and to the point, sometimes saying things that make you go “yikes, that’s not going to go over well.” I have noticed this with Mo as well. It just is what it is and I have come to appreciate it. He’s fantastic in many ways! Go Blue!

I think it started way back in the 70s as a practice technique to teach guys to stay low & balanced on D. I had a 7th grade summer league/camp coach who was a D3 college player that taught us that. No idea who would have started it tho.

Recently, I amassed 100 points.  I’ve been here since 2009, or close to it.  I started upvoting some comments.  Then I down voted some vague comments by users who were very new.  Thought I was helping neg the trolls.  Then I received an email that said I was back under 100 points.  I didn’t have any new comments recently.  The trolls are here to stay I guess.  Go Blue!

Wagner is amazing but can you imagine if DJ Wilson would have stayed another year? Those 2 would have been killing it together.

EIther way this is Mo's team and I'm looking forward to our rematch with Purdue.

There may be other things in sports more stupid than floor slapping...but I can't think of any right now.

Great comments by Wagner thanks for sharing jmblue!

Sometimes you get your little brother excited when you’re playing basketball and you let him get the lead. Then you come back and take it from him.

Was very surprised and this was an awesome win. Basically the complete opposite of the football team. Coaches are developing players and putting them in a position succeed. Just hope this team isn’t peaking too early. Staee has too much talent to not make a run at some point this season. Just hope they don’t go really far in the tournament. Would be great if Michigan could advance further than Staee again this year.

Wagner obviously outplayed everyone on the court... It seemed to me if it was not a wide open dunk Bridges missed it....... So proud of our team....... But of course my sparty family replies "we will just keep beating you in football"....... Please Harbs beat sparty!
