I think some of you people expect unrealistic coaching changes. Like people wanting Kiffin to be OC. So when that doesnt happen lets be pissed. Dude is a good Recruiter and has to be an upgrade from Jay, right?

I thought we had a running backs coach.  What does this mean for the future of one Jay Harbaugh?  Back to working for his uncle in Baltimore?

I guarenfuckingtee you that if ANY of our rivals, Penn State, Ohio State, MSU, Notre Dame...any of them at all had hired the UC defensive line coach to be their new RB coach we'd be laughing our collective assess off at them.

I keep reading in this thread what an awesome job he did coaching running backs at BC - then why did he take a lateral/downgrade position coaching DL at Cincy?  Something in that career move doesnt make sense.

This to me is kinda like our 2018 recruiting class.  Slightly above average for the B1G, nothing like what we've come to expect here - especially under Harbaugh.

Edit: if he's coming to coach defense as reported on the front page this is a nice pick up IMO.  I'll stand by my comments though if he's coaching RBs.

He seems like a good rb coach. His fist year at bc he had a 2,000 yd rusher, 2nd year he had a 1,000 and a guy that had 800 plus, his last year he had 3 rbs at over 400. Not bad.

Great start to re-tooling the offense....IMO

Good recruiter, good ties to Ohio area for recruiting, I think it's time to stop stressing and relax,  enjoy the build up for next season, cause I feel real good about it

are not the biggest problem with this team. I would argue they have been better coached than some other position groups, like safeties, Qb's and offensive line. I'm a big fan of Coach Wheatley but in 2016 behind an experienced line he rarely had Deveon Smith come off the field. Why wasn't Ty Isaac coached up enough to see the field?

I must have missed this info but, Is Partridge looking to leave ? That would be a huge loss. He's an up and coming coach who is a great recruiter. He's my personal favorite coach in the staff.

The speculation on Sam's WTKA show is that he is coming to coach OLBs and special teams. I'm happy to have Coach Washington on the staff, but that positional assignment seems to indicate that Partridge is likely gone. That's not good!
