Channing Tindall Commits to Georgia (Relevant to Otis Reese)
Georgia just received a commitment from Channing Tindall - a 4* OLB (#91 overall and #5 OLB) from South Carolina. This is big news to Michigan fans because he plays the same position (OLB) as Otis Reese and convential wisdom is that if UGA took Tindall than there may not be room for Reese. That coupled with Pruitt and the LB coach going to TN and Reese sporting U-M gear in recent tweets could all be positive signs for the good guys.

I'm also old. Whenever I see the name "Otis", I think of Otis the brother of the NPC Ranger, Elmo ("My brudder Otis gibbed it to me!") from the classic D&D module, T1 Village of Hommlet.

Ive seen two michigan insiders say that they dont think Tindall's commitment means much in terms of what school otis reese chooses
I mean, we took multiple LBs last year.........

There are still lots of people in Reese's circle who want him at Georgia. This battle will continue.

That this commitment has no implications into Reese's decision. Georgia would find a way for him to be included in their class. I do think he stays because of what he would be capable of doing here vs there, in terms of playing at the viper spot. He could be so dynamic at viper in Donny's defence. Dude hits harder than anyone I have ever see before.

With Saban getting old I would think recruits should think about Dabo and Kirby looking to upgrade their jobs and head to Alabamy, just saying. Right Dabo?

That would be great if they had no more room for Otis after Tindall. I fear even if UGA has no more room for him, he may be talked into taking one of those famous SEC " Grey Shirts "
He would definitely see the field at Michigan first!

It's basically unheard-of for a top-100 recruit to take a grayshirt. That usually happens only when a kid who is at the bottom of the class desperately wants to go to that school, and neither of those qualifiers apply to Reese and UGA.
