Anyone else remember when Dangerous Danny Davis would be banned for life in the WWF only to return the next week? Sadly, UM football is starting to feel like WWF these days. A lifetime contract would be meaningless and borderline negligent of the university to hand one out.

Yeah and those who provide special benefits will finish First in the division once every four years, get blown out multiple times and be a slightly above average team that’s won two national titles in the last 20 years. That’s great but is it really elite? It sure ain’t Alabama or Clemson. They don’t get their doors blown off.

Has anyone, ANYONE, in the media ever stated the point of view that Harbaugh is exactly where he wants to be and isn't leaving for a long time?  ANYONE?  I have not heard it other than on this blog.  I am just fucking pissed that out of all of these supposed "experts" that hardly anyone states this side of the story.  The propaganda for him leaving is just maddening.  It just goes to show you how most of these douchebags don't care about the truth, they have ulterior motives.  It ruins my faith in mankind.  No one seems to care about the good heartwarming story about a Michigan guy wanting to coach Michigan.  It's all about the opposite.  It's the suckiest suck that ever sucked!

Won 2 National titles and working on his 3rd in his first 3 seasons - by all means, print out a lifetime contract. At this point, Harbaugh has produced upper middle class results without any championships. Does that sound like a resume that a school should sign a fake lifetime contract with? It doesn't really matter though because this is likely just rhetoric coming out of our PR department.

Are doing their best to discredit JH before the 2018 season. Their time is running out and their narrative is wearing thin. Even if a “lifetime contract” is not signed, discussions of said contract should mute much of the “Harbaugh to the NFL” crap.

They should put some clause in the contract that pays Harbaugh a bonus anytime some of his known specified trolls in the media do a story on him or mention his name.  Every Pete Finebaum mention gifts Harbaugh like $20k.  So even when he is talking shit he is knowingly making him money.  Thanks Pete!!!

I would be fine with this. There is no better coach to lead Michigan. Also I think Harbaugh is a guy who loves the program so much that if he ever got to the point where he wasn’t getting it done, I believe he would step away

I was a freshman at UM and MMB member when Bo turned down an offer to take the Texas A&M job - it was a HUGE offer at the time - something like $2 million over 10 years (yes, that was real bucks back then).

Canham had been offering coaches only 1-yr contracts until then. Bo got a real contract and included better deals for his asst coaches.

I think lifeltime is EARNED upon championships - at least B10 titles - keep Jimmy happy and well paid but lifetime happens after the results.

Love the guy but want more please.
