BO

On the 11th anniversary of the great man's death, I know his spirit is with us as The Team goes to Madison.  Let's bring the smashmouth manball game as we celebrate Bo's 18-1 record as a coach against Wisconsin.

Spending 45 minutes with him one on one on the way to a company Super Bowl party. It was the sports highlight of my life.

What a man. We still miss you and still love you, and we will still be cracking buckeye nuts on your resting place on Tuesday. God bless your cotton pickin' maize and blue heart.

Time for your young QB Jimmy Harbaugh to win his first huge game as a Michigan head coach, and he will certainly have you in mind.

I'll leave you guys with this:

And This:

Forever Go Blue.

For me the Game felt "off" after Bo's passing.  It didn't feel quite right that, after we spent the Friday mourning Bo, we had to turn around and playing a huge game on Saturday.   I've always wondered how much it affected the players'/coaches' mindsets for that game.  Bo had addressed the team earlier in the week

The only time I met Bo was immediately prior to his last Michigan Ohio State game in 2005. I miss his calming influence over the program, but I think he would be extremely proud of Jim Harbaugh, he always liked Jim. RIP Bo, forever Go Blue!
