I'd heard he was bad, but its really bad.  God bless his maize and blue heart, but Brandstatter is so awful at play by play that its hard to listen.  Ufer and Beckmann spoiled us for so many years.  Very little description and lots of yelling.Oh well in the new tv age, every game is available to watch almost anywhere.

young eyes when I watch the game on TV and synch up to radio, as I seem to see yard lines and player numbers better than he does. Enjoy Dierdorf's commentary immensely.

Great first half! My only complaint is defending kickoffs and punts, and also Quinn Nordin. Otherwise, tremendous game!

Is it just me, or did that first half seem REALLY long? I feel like I normally do after a game is over, yet we still have a half left.

I love to fall back, but after that day is over, I hate daylight savings. It sucks that it's already dark and it's only the start of the second half in a 3:30 game.

mccray isnt great but unfortunately they lack options (guys like gil, uche, etc plus 3 frosh).  the staff clearly has confidence in mccray and im sure hes a leader and calming influence - though no denying hes consistently abused outside the tackle box.

mccray and kinnel have been the weakest links when D has been beaten.  there have been times where undisciplined play by gary, winovich, bush, hudson, mone, furbush, metellus result in conversions and / or chunk plays - but theyre still darn solid on the whole and do mostly good job executing browns scheme.

tough to blame mccray or the safeties for losing man coverage battles or getting beat to spots theyre not built to cover.  love browns scheme for the most part (and theres always a give and take with any scheme) - its clear michigan can be beat on the edge and up the seams, which brown usually accepts in order to play aggressive man concepts.

i would like to see them sprinkle in more 3 CB looks, maybe another 5% zones, some robber calls, etc but tough to criticize brown much (other than handful of losses per game on the edge and up seam).  theyve been mostly solid but well see as psu, wisc and osu have always been the tests
