He missed the uprights and pulled it left.....

Or he could have a minor injury he has been working through which is what the coaches have publicly said.

I think you are confusing the words "major" and "minor." Go check out: Dictionary.com

....or somehow just blame Beilein.

You're probably right. Football players never play hurt.

You have absolutely no idea what is wrong with him, but by all means keep talking.
November 6th, 2017 at 12:58 PM ^
Nicked himself while shaving, or suffered any number of "minor" injuries unrelated to his physical ability to kick a ball through the uprights, he shouldn't play?

This post is so spot on and gets right to the point in only 6 words. Nice work!

Let's be honest. A lot of the old ones suck, too.

He's a Freshman that's 14/18 on the season with a couple 50+ yard kicks. He's doing more than fine. Oh, and it's also worth mentioning that he's a Groza Award Semifinalist as a FRESHMAN.

Or he has a minor injury. Like the coaches have said. I like the leap from missed kicks has to be losing confidence though.
November 6th, 2017 at 12:34 PM ^
At this rate, by the OSU game, he'll be suicidal. Bowl game...dead...

joking. But, now you're just being illogical. How do you know it's "losing confidence"? Maybe it's some technique problem. Or maybe he has some minor injury that's throwing him off? Or maybe it's just a random concentration glitch that most freshmen kickers go through at some point. I have no doubt he'll work through whatever it is and turn into the top kicker in the Big Ten if not country eventually.

which also includes the placeholder, etc. Whatever the case, he is a freshman. I imagine his accolades early on made you expect permanent perfection? I believe the good coaching and his competitive fire will iron out the wrinkles quickly. If its an injury, he must still be the best chance to score at that position.
