The legal complaint says Kentucky fans were so irate over the Elite Eight finish they viciously harassed Higgins and his family, including clogging his roofing business with negative comments and even threatening the referee’s life. When Higgins returned to the court to referee the 2017 NCAA championship game, he had to be protected by a bodyguard.

Guy doesn't deserve to be harassed. That being said, the article left the impression with me that he is the kind of ref that likes to be noticed. You know, the kind of ref that calls a basketball technical foul in football.

to various college football venues all across America for 4 decades..Michigan wouldnt even rank in the top 100 of unruly unreasonable and even sometimes dangerous fan bases..not even CLOSE..M fans are fairly docile all things considered.
