I love football, but I think it's been fairly accepted that no amount of protection on the head can prevent the brain from knocking against the skull during a major collision. To me, the obvious answer is to eliminate helmets or go back to some sort of leather protection with no face guards. I think the helmet is a detriment because so often players lead with their head (thinking it's protected with the helmet) and it takes major impact. No helmet or the old leather helmets would likely reduce the number of head-to-head collisions that are so prevalent in the game right now. Players wouldn't lead with their head so much.

Just my two cents, for what it's worth (2 cents, apparently).

and hard skulls, any activity that require forces on your body can result in CTE's, Cheer-leading and gymnastics can be just as dangerous.

for having conviction and sticking to it. But, I hope he understands it's not going to have any effect on the game and all he did was lose his income.
