We get Hosed by Big 10 Officiating in every big game

Submitted by Rdog on

MGoBlog estimated penalties game MSU 21 point equivalents last year.  This year's OSU game OSU was penalized for 6 yards on 2 penalties.   There was a bad PI called on a on-catchable ball in addition to the bad Barret spot and about 5 other bad calls.

Should Michigan consider leaving the Big 10?

What does Michigan need to do in order to get fair officiating?

This is not that time.

Fuck those low-rent gap-toothed trailer trash sisterfuckers.  Fuck 11w.  Fuck their Salvation Army rejects of a marching band.  Fuck the Pepcat package and its lack of payoff.  Fuck the blood money that was paid off to the refs.

I hope Urban and his unpleasant harpy of a wife have really really achy sore knees after their fellatio party they're serving up the refs right now.

Classy fans. The irony of trailer trash. You're whiners You lost. You can't beat us. My sons 18th birthday today and the ONLY loss he remembers is when we had Fixkell and we almost beat you. He asked me in all seriousness, "dad, what's it like to lose to Michigan?" Think of that! Love it. I've never been tested so bad as when I came up there 4 times in a row. Low class. Yeah your seniors a sophomore. My bad. Get over it. I never claimed to be an expert about your team as one said. Glad to bomb your lame whiny thread. CRY BABIES!

You will be chugging water with asprin....er.. maybe not, you might have noticed, but I sincerely doub't it. Everytime you drink like you have today, the next morning your little head hurts and your smaller brain tells you the only way that pain will go away is to drink more booze all over again...

My favorite today was when you tried some fancy bull crap play in our red zone with peppers direct snap...and he lost like 5 yards...trying to be cute. And the Michigan fan behind me held up pinched fingers and said "soooo close" as if peppers ALLLLMOST made a great play...blahahah. It wasn't even close. Dude got dropped for a loss,Bro.... And he got his first int today? Sad. How about when he couldn't catch Barret on that decently long run...peppers was chasing him. Barrett not even known for any speed. Hilarious.

Do u really only look at the result of the play... When Peppers got tackled for a 5 yard loss it was so close, if he broke on for tackle from someone who barely got him by the ankles the he would have had a big play. And you expect a linebacker to get a bunch of interceptions... Even if it wasn't close don't try to bash a Michigan fan for having optimism

"Well first I'd like to say hats off to our opponent. That's a good team...well coached...they play hard....I don't want to take anything away from them....but I do feel...." Is that too hard?

We are on our site bitchin about the game and here you come with a name like that and you have done nothing but win with your team but you are so miserable in your pathetic little life you go and find something to bitch about. Admit it you were one of those buckeyes predicting a blowout weren't you... Well we would like to tell you to fuck right off if you think this coach is going to give a losing team credit. You seem to forget Hoke is no longer the coach here and we found apologies only made us feel stupid so take your we are so good and you got beat and stick it squarely up your ass.

You know... there are two games now this season where the Wolverines had a chance to close out the game on the road and failed, and almost 3rd time at Michigan State… Truly the elite teams find a way to play through that - The Wolverines had chances to close it out and failed to do so…gotta be the Refs! How many championships has Harbaugh ever won as a coach? He's a winner for sure, but not a champion.

Look at some of the penalties they called on us, they threw the flags so late. They realized it wasn't a penalty at first but then threw it after they thought about it because they want michigan to lose

Woke up this morning singing "sweet Caroline"....you know, the song we sing every year it's a home game against Mest Chicken. Bet it was the refs who forced you to kick a FG in the Secomd overtime... Must've been the refs that dialed up a straight dropback pass by Spieght from your own end zone... Bet it was the refs who made Peppers a non-factor.... Bet it was the refs and NOT the most freakin' awesome crowd that caused a bad snap/exchange on the one yard line.... Bet it was the refs who gave Michigan a record 8 sacks as 13 tackles for loss? Hmmmmm Bet it was the refs who've made it 16 years since Michigan won in Columbus. Hey, how about you all hire Jill Stein to try to overturn the 4th down... Urban Meyer...undefeated in his first season but couldn't go to NC game due to sanctions....won a national championship his second year...going to another....60-5 in 5 years...5th year seniors have 5 gold pants... You have Captain Khaki.... You know, one really DOES turn blue when one chokes.... Glad to rip your heart out... GO BUCKS!

I do not recall anybody doing anything but complimenting the home team & the coaching.  It's just rather difficult to play 11 on 16 all afternoon.  Enjoy your world, I guess.  Still, I bet you have to feel a lot like Sparty did last year.  Your comments are all pretty damn similar.

Calls don't get made that one sided by accident. The refs were in the tank for OSU.

Jim told the truth, and the Big10 will fine him for pointing out the truth, thus proving he is right. If he was wrong they would show how he was wrong and shame him for it.

There are two possible reasons for the unfairness: 1, they Hate Harbaugh; or 2, there were bribes involved.

A member of the media needs to follow up in a few months, we have to hope there have been no-work fatcat contracts for their fathers/brother-in-laws. If there are, then we know how much we have to bribe next season, and how to do it.

Otherwise it is pure bias, and I am not sure how to overcome that.

I do know allowing the outcome of The Game to be dicatated by ref bias repeatedly will destroy the series, and in time will kill college football. A smart NCAA would get to the bottom of this and fix it, but that isn't going to happen.

You're hilarious....CERTAINLY it couldn't be that you got beat...no no you're much too arrogant for that. And you're drinking Harbaugh's excuse...errrrr....I mean snake oil. If he actually took responsibility for some of the stupidity he displayed during the game and therefore some of the loss in his skinny shoulders then he might not look too good. But yes, you all let him get away with blaming the refs....arrogant idiot cry-babies. For real... Say it with me, "Hats off to our opponent (it's ok if you can't stomach saying Our name)...they played hard...it's always a battle and honor to play on this great game...it's hard hitting...both well-coached teams...." C'mon...say it...classless jerks.... 364 days of happiness for Buckeye nation...thanks, Buckeyes!

After going through this thread I'd have to agree Speight played a God-awful game. If he takes the safety there's a good chance our defense holds up. But also, you cannot act like the referees had no play in this. I won't bother posting the pictures, you've all seen them already, we had no chance from the beginning. This was in the books before it started.

Maybe if your coach weren't such an idiot...it has to play into this...into the game...maybe into the calls...there were some 50-50 calls...that's the way it goes. Maybe if he's not such an idiot to people/refs he gets some of those. I don't know. It's possible that if Harbaugh weren't such an idiot, refs might be more likely to give the benefit of a doubt. Can you imagine being a ref with him constantly...and I mean constantly... whining...Then when he throws his papers and headset...? Such a jerk. And he has you all not thinking he's not part of the problem. "Hey everyone, looks over here (at the calls of the refs) so that I don't have to answer to anyone for my coaching mistakes." Yiire being duped a bit. Make him answer/own up. And by all means show a little class....

I have been watching Michigan football since 1993 season at 9 years old. Yes there is tyimes were officiating may have been bad and could have cost Michigan a game or went against us when it should not have, but I will never blame the refs or claim the game was fixed until the 2016 OSU game.

That is the only game were the officiating was completely one sided and infair to Michigan. Yes there were othergames were the officiating may have been bad and a critical bad call cost Michigan thegame, but never was it intentional or no something that can balance itself out for both teams throughout the game until 2016 OSU game in Columbus.

The 2016 Michigan OSU game in Columbus officiating was the equivelent of the 2002 NBA Western Conference Finals Game 6 Kings vs Lakers were they clearly wanted the series to go to Game 7 and Lakers to win. The refs clearly wanted OSU to win and did not call the game fairly. No other Michigan game loss I will lay the blame on the refs.
