Shit, that trophy looks better than the NCAA trophy.
Like license plates . . . the more boring the state, the more colorful and dramatic the license plate.
The more inconsequential the tournament, the more grandiose the trophy.

Spike just drew a textbook Beilein charge. Purdue up 4 with the ball with 1:30 left.

DJ's emergence changes everything.
- 2 active bigs contesting shots, taking charges and rebounding
- even Teske got some run, giving us 4 bigs who can rotate and stay fresh
- 3 dimensional offense - 3 point shooters, passing inside and great penetration by MAAR, Walton and Irvin
- Robinson in perfect role coming off bench to rain jumpers
- Continuing Beilein tradition of valuing the ball, with few TO's
I'm so impressed by JB. Willing to adapt, able to utilize the strengths of his players, and fantastic player development.

Maybe better chemistry this year? It's hard to play a year with your leading scorer either out injured or hobbled.

But gotta like what we've seen so far. Defense is playing together. Not sure Walton will keep up the 3 point pace. If DJ's confidence keeps growing, he could be special. I'm glad we don't have to rely on Robinson to start.
Expecting a legit run to make the dance.
GO BLUE!!
