Last year saw 3 teams bowling thru the APR rule:
- 5-7 San Jose State
- 5-7 Minnesota
- 5-7 Nebraska
One might argue that the humiliation of that, plus the extra practice hours, may have helped a couple of them this year.
- Nebraska 7-1 and #10 in CFP
- Minnesota 6-2
- San Jose State not so much
