If I was the next USMNT coach, I'd take the entire team down to a Brazil favela and make them play street soccer in a narrow alley with 40 players and 3 stray dogs for 24 hours a day 7 days a week nonstop until they learn how to KEEP POSSESSION OF THE GODDAMN FUCKING BALL!!

I agree that our fundamentals must improve.  Zardes has too many bad touches, but he is young and athletic enought to make up for some of it.  Some of the older players that make bad plays like Bradley need to go.  I can see the next MNT with 3-5 different starters from tonights team, and all of them are young promising players.  We just need to develop a mercurial player to be better on the world stage.

well i don't see how it's klinsmann's fault that soccer is so underdeveloped in america that they're coached like shit for years before they come to him, but then he chose to leave a country that puts serious resources into soccer, so i guess he can't complain

to find out who won.  Apparently no one scored and there were just a lot of people flailing around on the ground and the ball never got near the net.  Exactly how I expected it to go.  #SOCCER!!!

There's your anti-soccer post of the day. Since you didn't watch the game, you wouldn't have seen some of the great shots that rang the post, Dempsey with a ridiculous free kick that the goalie made an unbelieveable save. #MERICA! Football, smash heads, excitement!!

Every sport has stupid shit that goes along with it. Don't remember the last time I watched a football game where refs didn't F up 900 holding and pass intereference calls. Or an NBA game where the last 2 minutes takes 50. Or MLB, where half the people in attendance are sleeping.

Every sport has their problems.
