OT: Tigers Opening Day

We Tigers fans have now suffered two long baseball days without Tigers Baseball. I'm sitting in what might be the only bar within sight of Marlins park drinking bad beer and anxiously awaiting the game tonight. Flying out of Miami tomorrow for the games at Comerica this weekend. It's been a long winter, friends, and tonight Verlander gets this 2016 World Series run underway. Everyone have fun watching tonight, and cheers from MGoBrewer from sunny Miami! GO TIGERS

Why didn't JD Mart make the infielder throw home once he saw we were caught in a run down? Maybe the throw is off or something. Why just let them tag us out that easy?

These same people likely hated Leyland as well. The three hardest jobs in Detroit sports are as follows: Lions QB, Tigers Manager, and Red Wings goalie. You can never please these people, and they're the ones who like to call into sports radio shows.

actually the base running wasn't bad overall. they were more aggressive than normal. a bad decision obviously by iglesias. mccann called him out last year for lazy defense. tonight was a lazy base running mistake. he needs to remember that baseball is 90% mental. and the other half is physical.

haunts me. the royals thought they were getting a back half rotation starter and stumbled into a top RP. perhaps Greene becomes that. he certainly hasn't been very effective as a starter.

Greene looked great against us a couple years ago and pitched lights out to start the season last year. I think this weird injury he played through last year contributed to his struggles. I'm excited for him this year and hope he stays in the rotation.

Unlikely Shane moves out of the rotation any time soon. They way he's been pitching recently, he looks like a third starter type. And Norris is still inexperienced enough that few months in triple A could be beneficial.
