Is Lavall Jordan our Izzo?

Tell me all about how you are in the lockerroom, at practice, at film sessions seeing the coaches not demanding effort.

So you want Beilein to go Chip Kelly on a kid in the full view of the public just so you can feel good about 20-year olds not living up to your expectations?
I know I'm being extreme, but that's kind of what it seems like comments like yours are getting at.

Between LeVert and Coach B is growing tiresome and does seem to throw off chemistry whether Caris has been factored into the game plan or not. I mean, is anyone 100% on what exactly his injury is anymore? One could make the case it's growing more mental now than physical.
I'd say having a Naismith/preseason B1G POTY candidate constantly be a game time decision disrupts morale. JB kinda screwed the pooch by saying its LeVert's decision to come back as now every game he's out, I think more and more fans are becoming less sympathetic towards what was (and might still be) a serious injury.

I see two major issues. Unless you are Duke, UNC, or Kentucky and can pull multiple Top 50 recruits every year, you need to make sure the 1-2 guys you do land can contribute. Kam Chatman's inability to even be decent is really killing this team who could use an All-Big 10 level player (or even something close to that).
Second, Beilein's inability to recruit a big man who can defend and protect the rim is baffling. This team w/ Jordan Morgan would be so much better. They don't need another guy who can hit an outside shot. They need a banger who will do the dirty work. They need somebody who can cover for a shoddy job by a perimeter guy on D once in a while.

2 Big Ten titles in the past 5 years.
2 Elite 8's
1 Final Four
Since having his own players, Beilein is 66-38 in Big Ten play.

...at least when get supremely buttsexed by our opponents, especially against a rival.

10 points on the road is supremely buttsexed?
Look, I don't like losing to Ohio State (or anyone) either, but exaggerate much?

Points are points, man. Doesn't matter how you score them. For instance, we scored fewer points in the paint than Purdue. But we won.
We also outrebounded both teams.
February 17th, 2016 at 11:45 AM ^
Whatever you say. We were down double digits the entire second half except once when we got it to 7. That's what happens when you can't do anything except shoot it from outside...you can't count on outside shots when you need to make a run. Also doesn't help when you can't stop the other team from pounding it down your throat because your big men are just big traffic cones.

I'm just saying what you described is called "losing".
"Supremely buttsexed" is what happened against Xavier, SMU, Indiana, and Michigan State.

And OSU is not a good team. We are supposed to be a good team. We were buttsexed

Thanks for latching on to a tertiary point of mine.
But as long as we agree that we were not "supremely" buttsexed, whatever you want to imagine last night's game was is cool with me.

Side note: I think JB is a great coach, I just don't care for his system. This system will always have a low success rate against teams with talented and physical big men.

As far as recruiting rankings Michigan does have talent.
4 Star Players This Program Had
Kelvin Grady, Manny Harris, D. Morris, Vogrich, Smotrycz, Brundidge, McGary, Stauskas, GRIII, Walton Jr., Donnal, Irvin, DJ Wilson, Chatman
Too many recruiting misses coupled with injuries spell doom.

Who gives a shit! Of those 14 4 stars you just listed, re rank them now. At most there are 4 that I would still consider a 4 star. 4 out of 14 might be good in baseball but is turrible in recruiting.

there is a problem with eyeing talent and or development.

not able to follow up on some great seasons.
older person without the energy or the stomach for recruiting.
there is going to be a change in head coach in the relatively short term. hopefully, the transition will be better than football. this may be manuel's first big challenge.
