MGoFish cryptic tweet re: recruiting

WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

May break the Internet later tonight/early tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.

EDIT: Update posted below. He's talking about recruiting.

Maybe this is Harbaugh's long term extension that Hackett has been talking about. Something crazy like a 20 year contract with a $100M buyout. That would cover all the MGoFish bases. Stop the negative "He's going to NFL" type recruiting. Amirite?

Hackett was on the Huge Show a few days ago talking about the Harbaugh extension.  He said they were in agreement in the general numbers but that the final details haven't been completed yet, and that it'd be signed, etc. after the recruting cycle was done.

I expect the contract to be announced in the dead period after NSD but before Spring Ball starts.

Calling BS on this...anyone can day we are due a surprise tomorrow and with NSD here its a lock to be right. Thus is a case of claiming they will prove water is wet in 24 hours

Fuller will wear Charles Woodson's #2.

Fits all the criteria:
Related to recruiting but not recruiting info.
Announcing at 7:30 after he commits.
#readbetweenthelines meaning the field??

In response to the flood of guesses involving Player X or Player Y, MGoFish clarified by saying it is "about recruiting but not information."

If it's not info, it sounds like it could be a video as some have suggested above. Maybe Harbaugh doing something crazy on the recruiting trail? Or a compilation of things—a Harbaugh recruiting hype video?

So I'll put my guess out there on record. MGoFish is announcing at 7:30, right after Fuller's announcement. He did confirm that the timing of his announcement is in part due to Fuller announcing his commitment.

Thus, my wild guess is that he will be breaking some news on recruiting violations at OSU in regards to the recruitment of Fuller. Not sure where Fuller will end up in this scenario, but I'm guessing it relates to OSU's pursuit of him.

As for my reasons, it simply fits the bill. Not insider info on a recruits commitment. Not staff oriented. Not signing with the stars. Nothing to do with his site. Recruiting related, but not necessarily only about one individual recruit.

I guess we will know soon.

All this is quite funny. But I'll add that he's apparently said: it's about recruiting but not a specific recruit. It's after the fuller commitment. It's good news. It's not information. It's not about the stars event. And it will may break the Internet. What is left?

Well he already has 400 posts here and who knows how many retweets and clicks. But I do believe he tries to stay legit so we'll see.

This guy went from ''the internet will break tonight with my news'' to tweets that start with ''haha'' or ''lol''. I think it's safe to say he is starting to back track on his ground breaking news.

Yep. I made the mistake of searching out his Twitter and reading. I love the response now "people need to calm down and lower their expectations" directly after "breaking the Internet" type announcement. Douche. I hate recruiting. I try not to follow it but end up getting sucked in a bit every year.

What might actually break the Internet is the roasting this guy's going to take when his announcement turns out to be a big nothing.

Y'all just got Cat-Fishaw'd.

Dude needs to remember it takes years to build up reputation and 1 moment to lose it.

Not a big deal to some because i think most didnt take him too seriously but he will piss off others.

I think he tried to copycat his buddy at MaizeNBrew who got the silent commitment thing and reached too far and didnt realize how serious people would take his words when he probably did it as a goof.

As it turns out, Garrett Fishaw is the true identity of Super Douche, the newest member of the Justice League.
