I don't speak French, so I'm going on what I've been told, but here you go. Elleezay Bem Boss, to write it phonetically. Should be fun for the announcers, right?

Well I don't speak Portugese, but I'm pretty sure that name isn't French...

He's from Cameroon, so I'm pretty sure it's French, one of the two official languages of Cameroon.

I like him. He's mostly an edge rusher, a little bit unsure what to do in space. My guess is that Michigan would use him as an OLB/DE (rush linebacker) like they used Royce Jenkins-Stone and Mario Ojemudia this past season. He has a good first step and packs a punch coming off the edge. He's a bit like Von Miller (who was 6'2", 210 coming out of high school), although maybe not quite as quick.

Thanks for the info. That sounds like something we'd be happy to have, as we are a bit light at that area. I know we've got Carlo Kemp on the way, but we don't have a ton of depth there unless Marshall takes a step forward, if I recall correctly.

Right. We're lacking depth, but we're also lacking great athleticism. I think Kemp is even somewhat limited and might be more of strongside end by the time everything is said and done. Either way, it would be good to have an array of players to throw out there, mix and match, etc.

Talking Uche or Elyse here?
Well if either one is anything like Von Miller - who's terrorizing Brady right now - I think we could use them!
It does seem like opponents did seek to find ways to get OJ or RJS into coverage rather than rushing the passer. So at some point he has to get more sure of playing in space.
But again, if you see a similarity to Von - then Go Blue!!!

I was talking about Josh Uche there.
Don't get me wrong - I don't think Uche *is* Von Miller, who was obviously very good in college and is in the NFL. I just think Uche brings that kind of element to your pass rush game.

Well as I said - if YOU see similarities we can use him!
Way too long since we've had an explosive edge rusher the other team had to gameplan for - maybe since your erstwhile avatar BG?
I try not to give Frank Clark too much credit for anything, as I just didn't care for the way he went out... no one did I'm sure!

Frank Clark is in the NFL, and he always had TONS of practice hype while here, but I'm not sure that it translated to as much on-field success for Michigan as some people would suggest. Not saying he never did anything, but he really wasn't an all time great here, and when you factor in the baggage . . .

Thank you Jimmy for restoring Michigan to its traditional role of recruiting elite talent from coast to coast. We are a national recruiter again and it feels good. Go Blue!
