Harbaugh Sleepover a joke? Not to ESPN and SCOUT....
So apparently there is a bit of confusion going on about whether or not Harbaugh actually slept over at Quinn Nordin's house last night....according to ESPN and SCOUT he did, and Harbaugh attended his classes today. To quote the notification:
Michigan: Jim Harbaugh spent night at kicking recruit Quinn Nordin's house, attending his classes Thursday - Scout.com
So if this was joke, Harbaugh is trolling everyone and it is hilarious. I get the fact that we are still discussing this is lame, the only reason I posted this is because of the notification I got. I don't find it weird at all, I find it to be Step Brothers level hilarious.

if you want to get deep meaning and be moved by a motion picture, this is not for you. However, if you like Trading Places, Animal House, Caddyshack, Mel Brooks' films, then YES!

They reported this on our local news station this morning and I live in Grand Rapids. Of course, doesn't mean it actually happened. I did get a good laugh on it this morning though when the sports guy started talking about Harbaugh's sleepover at Nordin's house.

Per another thread, a high schooler in Detroit tweeted a pic of JH in his school at 10:00am. That's about 2 1/2 hours from Rockford? If he went to any classes with Nordin today, he would have had to bail out of there by 7:30am at the latest...
Safe to say he did not attend classes with Quinn Nordin today.

I live in Rockford (new username, I know) and follow the football team. Harbaugh was NOT at Rockford High School today. They think it might happen tonight but no one knows for sure.

But for Harbaugh that is the point. Its a way of showing the kid that he wants him to play for Michigan.
The fact that Harbaugh knows its going to hit the media makes it different from a random 51 yo asking to sleep over at a teenagers house. If anyone on this board did it, it would be truly strange. Harbaugh is doing this because it is generating attention.
TBH, Harbaugh is a genius. He is doing things that require little effort and generating a ton of attention and buzz for it.

I love coach, but I would not want him spending the night in my home.

That's one difference between us. I'm trying to figure out how good I have to get at kicking field goals to have him spend the night in my home.

I can't wait until they're old enough to have Coach 'Baugh, as he's known by my 5 year old, to sleep over. There won't be any PSU stuff on the walls guaranteed.

Any word on how the sleepover went?

I was listening to Tom Tolbert and Ray Ratto yesterday afternoon on KNBR, which is the SF Bay Area's main sports radio station.
Tobert and Ratto went off for almost 10 minutes on Harbaugh's plan to sleep over at Quinn Nordin's house. It was mainly lighthearted shits and giggles, with a minor helping of snark.
"He'll probably sleep in his Michigan onesy and bring his own Bo Schembechler pillow."
"He'll bring a gross of marshmallows from Costco for s'mores."
"He's doing this for a kicker. A kicker. Can you imagine what he'd do for a quarterback?"
"That sleepover must be the most Harbaugh of Harbaugh things to do, and the list is very long."
It was really funny and definitely illustrates the power of our Harbaugh!
