Nothing good happens after midnight, something, something.
You seldom "win" a confrontation with the police. Doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, you're not "winning" that confrontation. (Not that I necessarily like that reality. But it's something most people learn before they go to college.)

game to get in trouble.
Reggis tackled the Auburn equipment manager after the game and stole a game ball, which, of course, he autographed and posted on instagram. The link includes a video of him attacking the equipment manager.
The Memphis player who stole the ball from Auburn autographed it and posted it on Instagram b/c of course he did. pic.twitter.com/Vj3P4PkaNe

Can't make this stuff up.

Still can't believe this story is real. You get throttled 31-10 by a mediocre Auburn team, then decide it would be fun to assault an equipment manager, grab an Auburn football, autograph it, and post to Instagram? All the while knowing that it's 2015/16 and someone will capture this event on hi-def video?
That's some kind of stupid.

...specify "bicycle patrol officer"? Is it a regular practice to say car/motorcycle/foot patrol officer? "Yeah, coach, but he's a bicycle officer, and I'm not taking any crap from a bicycle officer."

I was hoping tcu would hang 70 on oregons defense. They may still hang 40+ but what a bummer. And Oregon lucks out again.

Baylor is a lot worse than TCU when it comes to ethics. Not to mention their whole fanbase consists of a bunch of bandwagons that are the least liked by anyone in Texas.

Sorry, I know it isn't funny but I had to smile when it said the police officer injured his knees and I remembered how tall Boykin is. That is such a small joke.

which it sounds he is. Now the only teams that will draft him are the Lions or Cowboys.

That's interesting... I didn't see anyone making that argument. Hyperbole much?

As a law enforcement officer, this is a disappointingly ignorant statement. Each day people in the profession go to work with the goal to do the job right. Not to be racist, not to kill someone and not to make the news. Each day, a huge majority are able to do that and unfortunately a small minority are placed in a situation where lethal force may be required. If you ask any officer, I'd say 99% would say a perfect career would be one in which they would not have to discharge their weapon at any point. Now is every shooting justified? No (see the SC incident), and any officer I have spoken with regarding incidents such as that are just as disturbed by it as anyone else. If that is truly the view you have of the profession, I recommend signing up for a ride along. It may not change your opinion completely, but at the very least, it could help shed some light on what is faced each day.
