What a graet article written by an intelligent young man. He's got a good head on his shoulders.
"Peppers takes the return, he has the sideline, 15.... 10.... 5.... TOUCHDOWN MICHIGAN!!!"

This article makes me proud to be a Michigan fan / Alumni. Nothing like the best athlete on your team being able to articulate his thoughts, on such a profound issues, in such an eloquent way.
p.s. he wants to graduate?!? yes plz. stay all 4 years!

Drake Johnson & Desmond Morgan did little fill out the blank things.
Music featured includes Brittany Spears, Justin Bieber, and George Strait.
Johnson says the strangest coaching he ever got was "to NOT run fast on a play".
Desmond Morgan would change "targeting" if he could pick any rule to fix. (duh)

I don't think it takes anything away from Jabrill because what is impressive about this piece is Jabrill's life and everything he's overcome, but most of the content on The Players' Tribune is written by a staff of ghostwriters.
From the NY Times in March -
Edit - I meant to post this as a reply to earlier comments about the actual writing in this piece, but it looks like this just posted as a regular comment which just makes it seem kind of snarky.

Well I thought that was obvious to all, I think few non-authors, never mind young athletes, could write at the level demonstrated on that site. And it's fine. I publish technical pieces based on my research, not literature, and my work is heavily edited before it goes to press or web and I think I'm a pretty damn good writer.

If Jabrill can stay healthy I think he is going to have an amazing career @ UofM. Its insane to thing how good the kid is already and he is really just a first year player. Part of me wants to see him on O a little more maybe at slot or so but gotta be honest, everytime he touches the ball i gasp hoping he doesnt get hurt. Pretty sure he is really needed on D.

the part that made me smile the most was that Jabrill's mom told him that if he had any grades lower than a B+ he couldn't play football. All the points to her.

Sometimes a school and a player are just a perfect match.
