Cue Spartan whining....

I mean, never mind that your defense got torched by Nebraska. (Nebraska!)  Never mind that your quarterback had the ultimate non-Minnesota brain fart on the final play.  Never mind other games that have been handed to you in the past.  The officials totally cost you this game.

I've said this the last couple of weeks....I love it when Michigan is good, obviously. But it makes all of college football more enjoyable when they are successful. I love watching the Spartans lose, but it is so much better when it directly affects the remainder of Michigan's season.

I'm not even sure that they now the rulebook.  Not that I'm going to need to drink myself to sleep over the injustice.  Not that I'm going to do it anyway.

is that he throws a ball that can't be intercepted.  Not that he throws it away from guys.  He just throws it with a spin so that only his guys can catch it.

I felt like a personal jinx.

I have 2 TVs so I could see the whole drive and they were completing passes so I was like, okay...don't click over and put them on the big screen...don't draw attention to it.

And then they score a touchdown and I can't resist. I change the channel.

Then it's illegal touching. So I turn away and laugh, because of course MSU is going to get it reversed.

They don't. I go crazy and turn back just to hear the audio.

Nebraska goes for 2 and almost throws a pick 2 to lose the game. Then a horrible kickoff.

I turn away. I can't take it. It's happening.

I turn away and MSU gets nothing. I turn back...they complete a pass and call timeout. So I turn away...and I'm done this time. And Cook throws the ball away with 7 seconds left.

I go nuts.

I turn one last time to celebrate and the announcers are talking 1 more second.

I turn it off and just watch the muted finish on my smaller TV. I couldn't risk a second being put on the clock.

Ball game.
