Have no doubt that Mike Dantoni will have his team prepared for us. That game is going to be a to the death cage fight.

MSU, a couple weeks ago, had to pull away late to make their win over AF respectable. Transitive properties being heavily leaned on here, but Navy>>>MSU.

LOL wow nice 52 year FG there Colorado!

If MSU stays high and their players are still injured, we could knock them off when they're top 5. Wouldn't be as big of a win considering that they're not that good but the Harbaugh hype train would be off the charts beating a # 2 rival in his first year.

Kinda weird seeing a Colorado home game being filled and hype. I know they used to be 80/90s juggernaughts along with Washington but ... damn is it weird.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:15 AM ^
was just being shown on local South Bend TV post-game interview, bitterly throwing his team under the bus. Then he tried to regroup and backtrack on his comment, saying "I don't want my words to be taken the wrong way". Too late---damage already done.
I love it!

Golly, and here I thought he was a paragon of class and restraint.

I still can't understand how any parent would allow their child to spend four years with that man.

Colorado has had one of the worst athletic departments of the power 5 for a while now. Basketball/football trash
October 4th, 2015 at 12:24 AM ^
Football has been shit.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:30 AM ^
Defending x-country national champs (two years running), awesome skiing program.
Football's terrible. The rest of the department is fine.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:38 AM ^
They may have a few good nonrevenue sports but I can't think of anyone who is worse at football/basketball. Washington State maybe
October 4th, 2015 at 12:34 AM ^
Basketball was a bubble team the last few years IIRC
October 4th, 2015 at 12:52 AM ^
Last year wasn't so good but they were in the tournament the three years prior.
Which for Colorado is probably the high ebb of the program's history. They'd barely gotten a sniff of the tournament in decades before they hired Boyle five years ago. Just the Chauncey Billups teams--I don't think they'd had any other trips since the early 70s.

I had assumed Stanford was just overrated but now that they beat USC and are now crushing Arizona I'm really starting to wonder if Northwestern is actually good and not just easy looking schedule pretty record good
October 4th, 2015 at 12:19 AM ^
First team to 3 might win next week given the defenses.
Too bad we can't get College Gameday for that.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:21 AM ^
Lose and they do UF/LSU...win and they're in A2.
Harbaugh is a huge story...Michigan being BACK is a huge story (like UF being back)...and we'll be on ABC/ESPN and they'll be on CBS.
They're in Ann Arbor if/when we beat the Wildcats.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:20 AM ^
With a PF, backed them up to their own 12 yd line.

Why isn't Soloman in?
He just threw a Rudcokian deep ball.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:24 AM ^
Soloman got knocked out and concussed last game I believe.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:25 AM ^
Concussed last week.

Yo I've never seen Colorado play with so much confidence... These dudes are not the doormats I'm accustomed to.

Born in 91... too young to remember the Miracle at Michigan or Rashan Salaam trucking his way to the Heisman.
Washington and Colorado are both doormats in my lifetime.

Rich Rodriguez has been a coach for almost 25 years. How is his defense still this bad?
October 4th, 2015 at 12:34 AM ^
Idk if you can blame a scheme b/c TCU historically runs the 3-3-5 and before this year has had very good defenses.
Maybe RR can't recruit defense.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:37 AM ^
right now are complaining about using a 3 man front against the power offense. Where have I heard that before....hmmm
October 4th, 2015 at 12:39 AM ^
Oops I was wrong about TCU... they run a 4-2-5..
October 4th, 2015 at 12:43 AM ^
October 4th, 2015 at 12:35 AM ^
- He doesn't empahsize it
- He's an offensive coach and top defensive recruits don't want to play for him
- They're on the field more due to the offense
I think you could make a solid list because there are a lot of factors.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:42 AM ^
were just complaining about the best two players on defense are left overs from the Mike Stoops ear.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:46 AM ^
Pretty sure Scooby Wright is their best defensive player and he's an RR recruit.
October 4th, 2015 at 12:33 AM ^
"Let's go, defense. Go out there and get the offense the ball back."
Which they do. As quickly as possible.
