I think we just need to win the game, don't boo if losing, cheer normally and have a full stadium. That's about all the game will/can do, IMO. He then needs to have a good time Saturday night. Win his mother over and that'll do more than any chant. Yes, 18yr old boys will go against a parent's desires but not often when they really want something. For every McDowell there are 50 kids that appease the parents. Win mom, win the game, give him a fun night and don't be a crowd that acts like we're playing EMU. That's all we can do. It's not UTL or a major rival but BYU at Noon.

If chanting gets the best player in the country to come play for Michigan then by all means I'll do it. After the last 8 years I'll take any advantage we can get to winning.
