My poor wife is on overnight shifts this weekend. Makes for a long weekend. Had a bday party today for a friend's daughter, which was fun. Molson Ice tonight.

Rye Saison I did a few months back. It's getting better. Watching on Foxsportsgo with the Missus.

Nothing specific tonight. Just booze's. Get your khakis ironed. 5 days til kick.

I picked this up after a quick sample at a local store, not bad. 

Now, it's off to work in the garage.  I am now a coach of a First Lego League team for my kid and today was our first meeting.  WOW.  Quite the big to-do.  They'll be building an autonomous robot to go across a game board and complete missions (move, sort, demolish).

Yard work adnauseum today, even in the drizzle.  All the kids Saturday soccer games don't start for 2 weeks.

Either watching Thursdays game at home, or DVRing it while traveling back to Canada to close up the cottage.

Lagunitas sucks and season three of Luther

Did chores around house, grilled a couple steaks for dinner, enjoyed some cold pilsners, now just getting ready to retire for the night. Thursday will be quiet night at home. I'm too nervous to watch in front of family and friends. But I will have my phone close refreshing mgoblog aplenty, and will be watching the game with you all. Celebrating when it will all be said and done. I firmly believe that! Go Blue!!! Can't wait!!!

I just prepped a lot of food for a party tomorrow afternoon, stocked up on wine, will get more beer in the morning. Thursday I will be hanging in the man cave with a buddy and my younger son, a win will be tough but there is hope, looking forward to a totally different attitude and coaching style.

Anniversary

Wife is at a bachelorette party tonight, so I am on kid duty.  Got the kids to bed and I am drinking Apple Snapple and watching some pre-season NFL.

Some shitty red wine we happened to have around. If anyone is looking for something to watch, the wife and I started Narcos tonight. It's a Netflix show about Pablo Escobar. The first 2 episodes were quite good. Definitely going to pick it back up

Trying to decide between a Boulevard Sixth Glass and some Maudite... maybe I should do both. I'll be in the stadium cheering for UM which might get me some strange looks since both the wife and I work for the UofU.

Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale. It's ok, but not what I expected.

Enjoying some rum and Pepsi tonight outside with a bonfire. There's a taste of fall in the air tonight and it's making me giddy for football. Thursday cannot get here soon enough!

A toast to the Women's Volleyball team as they swept both Oakland and West Virgina in straight sets for both matches.  Here was the celebration upon the winning point tonight against WV....
