Harbaugh didn't invent anything. Back in the middle ages there was a peasant sport in France/Brittany called La Soule. It was a no holds barred rugby match between two villages with the respective church spires as goals. You can imagine running across fields with a ball made from an inflated sheep's gut, no refs and anything goes for rules. Those were the days when sport was for real men ;o)
