And probably heads up the player moms support group.

It should be publicly disclosed at some point, as UM is a public institution. I think they update salary disclosures once a year.

This position is a no-brainer in the current landscape of college admissions. I'm a bit surprised that Brandon didn't do this, but then I'm guessing he didn't need to talk to the folks at admissions or retention because the brand was going to be so strong that no one would ever leave.
She looks like a great hire, and she will greatly help in the transition...and I agree, a Hello: Mama G post would be marvelous...

Makes sense to me. Looks like a lot of concrete responsibilities helping both the guys in Ann Arbor, but also helping to be the eyes & ears for the coaches & the parents/family who are out of town. "Team Mom" definitely seems like the unifying theme here. It's not unlike "House Mother" that some fraternities use too. The fraternity "House Mother" is what first popped into my head when the concept of her hire first came up a few weeks ago anyway.
I'm no psychologist, but it seems to me the presence of a maternal-like female around a bunch of young men can have a somewhat tempering effect on the guys. Possibly pre-empting some off the field issues that might otherwise occur.

Serious question.....what am I missing here? Where is the genuis part? What is being marketed exactly? Great college players from other schools? I can't believe this is an actual thread and people are excited about it. I think this threat would make Bo sad.

What does that have to do with the mom taking selfies and posting them on twitter? It isn't even the HS players with the college players. It is just her. How does that enhance anything in this situation?
