Here's a story on Jay from before the football season. It's a good read.

with Logan. Everyone has to start somewhere and this is a great opportunity for him. I'm sure he will do fine, he's young and has coaching in his blood. Loving the coaching staff he has put together.

How cool is this?
I'll tell you how cool, EXTREMELY FUCKING COOL!
Jim Harbaugh is bringing his whole family to Ann Arbor. This means that Ann Arbor is where Jim Harbaugh will coach the reminder of his days. This is probably the greatest news ever.

About Al Borges being new OC to replace Dougherty at San Jose.

I bet some "source" was just messing with him. I don't blame them.

The tight ends will be solely coached by Harbaugh's 25-year-old son. In fact, our tight ends will not be allowed to have contact with any other coach throughout the duration of their eligibility.
Sorry, I'm still getting over the people who were upset that we hired an NFL OC as a wide receivers coach.

I'm sure they really care who the TEs coach is. If they want to come play for one of the best head coaches in the country, this won't change their minds.

If you think position coaches matter enough to turn a kid away from a coach like Jim Harbaugh then you are sorely mistaken.

Well, I don't know. Maybe they should ask Coby Fleener or Zach Ertz or Levine Toilolo how their time spent with Harbaugh worked out.

And who hired the coach who turned those guys into NFL tight ends?

Never said a word about that, but ok.
It's absurd given what Harbaugh did at Stanford that people can claim the authority to criticize his personal hires.

This implies that the TE coach is the only one working with tight ends during practice, which is extremely unlikely, given Drevno, Baxter, Harbaugh, and Fisch all have experience with the position in some capacity.
Harbaugh hired a coaching staff at Stanford that, time after time, turned unheralded recruits, including walk-ons, into NFL draftees. The armachair criticism of these hires is approaching absurdity, especially considering no one said jack about the coaches Hoke brought with him until they started to fail.
